Diggies Licenced Beach Cafe

A good location and a nice serving of egg breakfast that is accompanied by the perfect breakfast view, what more can one want.

This is a great place for breakfast or lunch. Ive been here a few times and the service and quality is always good. Great coffee. Have a light breaky say raisin toast and coffee. Or a snack. Overlooking the beach at North Gong. Very popular.

Diggies has a great location and the food is good. It is so popular that you often have to wait, and they don't allow bookings, which has turned us away if there are a lot of us sometimes. The wait staff are very friendly and accommodating, and they obviously enjoy their jobs, which makes a difference. Lovely little cafe in a great spot!

This is my favorite cafe in Wollongong. It is right on the beach and I often sit there in a "glad to be alive" haze. It can get very busy but it is worth queuing for. Coffee is excellent, service very friendly and menu often changes with the seasons. I have never had a bad meal here and I have had some outstanding breakfasts. If you are on a budget you would have to chose from the menu carefully as it is a little more expensive than average, but is well worth it. A great thing is the outside dining is always usable as they have various heaters and weather proof screens to ensure you will be comfortable. The inside area can get noisy but in summer the windows are open and you can have your coffee/brekky in complete comfort 5 metres from the beach and watch the world go by. No matter how busy they are I have never been given "hurry up" signals. If you have or are a visitor to Wollongong this is a must do

No one could ask for a better location for a Cafe. Located right on the beach front at wollongong, not only do you get good food and service, but you also get the bonus of a exceptional natural atmosphere.
We've only eaten from the breakfast menu and I have to say that it's one of the best we've had. The tea and coffee are nice, and the service is very friendly.
Diggies is on my frequent list.

Diggies is just great! Gets very busy but worth it.
The menu is seasonal and the food has always been exceptional. Coffee is consistently good. Atmosphere with the location on the beach is fantastic. The aspect I note on staff compared to other places is that they smile more and are friendlier! But with a great location why wouldn't you smile at Diggies. Love hanging out here with my wife and just relaxing next to the water.

Amazing food, awesome location, and perfect service. Its a bit hard on the wallet depending what you eat, but its delicious. The quality is worthwhile.

Delicious steak sandwich, one of the best I've eaten! A little expensive, however, the high quality of food & service definitely makes up for it. Beautiful view overlooking the beach. Ultra friendly staff, felt like a valued customer :-) will return for one of those steak sandwiches again

The location of this place is wonderful and there is a good atmosphere in the cafe. The food is also good and the service is satisfactory.

This is a lovely cafe and although you do pay a little extra for the location i can vouch for the fact that it is more than worth it.

Tip: if you can manage getting up around dawn it is just magic to sit with a coffee and watch the fit freaks jog past very good motivation to take a walk along to the beautiful Puckies bushland area just ac cross the creek.
