Dfo is not bad for a local. I wouldn't go out of my way if I lived far away. Some of the stores have terrible old stock. But others have good things. Dfo is clean and parking is easy.
DFO in Essesdon is a great place to shop first whenever you need to buy almost anything. There are so many different stores (mostly good quality brands) under the one roof. You will find many different clothing stores, home wares, a jeweler, shoe and accessory stores. Some stores offer better discounts than others depending on the time of year and current stock but you are sure to find value for money products somewhere in this shopping centre. There are however not very many places to eat, two very small food courts and a couple of other small cafe's scattered around but for the size of the place these are enough and after all, the aim is to find a bargain not to sit and eat! There are plenty of car parks (especially during the week) and if you are in the market for furniture or electrical, the homemaker centre is right there in the same complex.
The DFO in Essendon is fantastic. There are a huge number of shops, clothes, shoes, jewellery, food, furniture and on and on it goes. There are so many bargains to be had. Plus there is enough car parking for half of Melbourne.
