Incredible. On par with some of the better cafes and restaurants in Melbourne right near the beach, with a few unique things on the menu, like ginger beer, and cherry cola imported from the U.K. Defiantly worth the visit if you are on the peninsula.

My mum and I had lunch here on the weekend. The place is a little bit quirky and has a great rustic atmosphere. We were looked after very well by staff. More importantly, we were able to find menu choices to suit our needs (one of us with food sensitivities, the other vegan). Food tasted incredibly good. My mum chose from the all-day breakfast menu - feta and vegetable fritters with dips and a side of mushrooms. I selected vegan dips with felafel and a really nice freekah salad (freekah, mint, pinenuts, corn and currants). Excellent wine list and great coffee. I will definitely be going back again.

my favourite is the coffee profiteroles. but their salads (lots of pulses & grains), falafels are delicious. highly recommend for a coffee, or a meal (takeaway is a great option too, go sit on the beach)

We had heard good things about this place and we weren't disappointed. The environment has a nice rustic ambience assisted by subtle lighting from quirky fittings,a wall wine rack display and a central rectangular deli type bench with windows displaying assorted exotic cold meats ,cheese and salads. The Menu isn't overly extensive but offered a good range of food .We went with the mixed entree platter which included dips, olives and a delicious chutney with flat bread.A nice start. For mains I chose the 16 hour cooked lamb shoulder which literally melted in the mouth, had amazing flavour and was of generous portion. One of the best meals I have ever had after many years of dining out.My Partner had the Barramundi which she said was beautifully cooked and delicious. The beer & wine list is extensive and complimented our dining experince. The service from start to finish was attentive and professional. Overall we were very impressed with Dees Kichen and will definitely be back .Fine dining quality food in a nice relaxed environment and at a very reasonable price.I have a feeling the slow cooked Lamb shoulder will become my standing order.Highly recommended.

I have eaten a few times at Dee's and the food is sensational - especially the lunch menu and desserts. We have an infant and each time they have happily accommodated us with our pram in at the table. The two big disappointments I have had there are: 1. At breakfast I ordered a bacon and egg dish - I received one measly piece of bacon! And for the price I thought that was a bit rich 2. Generally the food is overpriced for what you get. The lack of value means it would be unlikely for me to eat there again.

Dee's Kitchen is a nice success story. Less than a year old, this twin shop cafe' in Pier street has a European ambience with quality food and good service. It's the place to be in Dromana and ranks with Two Bouys and L'Aqua as the better places to eat in Safety Beach and Dromana.
