It has been a really long time since I dined here when it was a restaurant menu and now it has changed to somewhat bar food kind of menu in a really good way. There was eleven of us out for a class Mum's night out. We sat upstairs and oh my god it was hot. We sat against the glass balastrade and unless you were seated right on the glass there wasn't any breeze. If you go to the bathrooms expect to sweat it out because they're even hotter than the restaurant. So we ordered drinks, cocktails included, along with our food from the bar, with the food delivered to our table. The chips at $7 were served with aioli and were a good serving, a nice easy snack to share, the pizzas looked beautiful with plenty of toppings. The lamb skewers, there were 3 with a salad roll which I thought a little odd and it was accompanied by a tzatzki and hummus. The hummus was really thick and a little hard to wipe the lamb on. The salt and pepper squid looked yummy although it was $24 and on the menu as a full meal, but there was only a smallish salad and the squid. Everyone at the table commented how delicious their meals were and I regret not getting the nachos as this looked really yummy. Cheapest bottle of white was $30, but the cocktails looked good value and whatever the girls were ordering garnished with mint had a kick to it. It was a little hard to hear once the entertainment started, but that could be age on our part. Enjoyed my evening, it was a relaxed atmosphere and will return again.

The food was nice but rather average, nothing too exciting. I think you could do better with takeaway & it would be cheaper.

Approximate cost: $18

LOCATED OPPOSITE THE BEACH, THIS PLACE IS GREAT FOR A COFFEE, DRINK, OR A FLASH DINNER OR LUNCH. UPSTAIRS IS THE 'FORMAL' DINING AREA (MAKE SURE YOU BOOK IF YOU WANT TO SIT OUTSIDE DURING SUMMER) DOWNSTAIRS IS MORE LAID BACK. THEY USUALLY HAVE A ONE MAN BAND AT THE FRONT OF PLACE AT NIGHT WHIHC MAKES FOR A GREAT ATMOSPHERE. FOOD IS FANTASTIC (BOTH THE SNACKS AND FULL MEALS) AND THE COFFEE IS FANTASTIC. GREAT STAFF.
