David Wall Massage

At last I have found a treatment that works for me. Having suffered chronic arthritic hip pain for several years I am now able to walk pain free for weeks at a time, due to regular massage treatments with David. I have tried many other physio and massage treatments and they have not been anywhere near as effective. My pain free results were achieved gradually over a couple of months, with continued refinements in treatment, and it has meant that I have not had to take anti-inflammatory medication or undergo hip replacement surgery. This for me has been invaluable, and I fully recommend David's services. He has a thorough diagnostic approach, plus an honest, gentle, thoughtful manner... he is definitely worth consulting if you have pain or joint problems.

David helped me regain a good quality of life, for which I am so grateful. Not only did he near eliminate my lower back pain, but he also equipped me with some very helpful exercises and stretches to prevent further injuries.

I've been seeing David for old injuries from years of ballet. He's been able to rectify problems that I've had for over a decade. He achieves results fast and provides you the information to assist you in getting well. He's not pushy and doesn't work like a 'used car salesman' like you sometimes get at chiros/physios. I can only back up what others have said. I have had chronic problems that Dave has been able to make sense of and explain in a way that previous practitioners could not. The mix of skills that he brings to his practice makes all the difference. Many practitioners seem to claim that they can do myofascial release but Dave takes it to a whole new level.

David takes his trade seriously and as a result works wonders. I found him randomly through google maps last year and have been back multiple times. He's as much a "body therapist" as he is a masseuse. He works on the principle mind/body/emotion connection and has done wonders for my aches and pains and even helped me deal with the trauma that was childbirth! I've returned when works has become stressful and my neck and shoulders have started to suffer from what he terms "computeritis". The results are always exceptional.

David is fantastic! He sorted out a number of issues including an injury from 12 years ago. He explained everything as we went along & is was more than happy to share tips & exercises for me to do on my own. Its obvious that David doesn't have to nor wants to "press" for repeat custom in the annoying way that happens with other practices. I've been seeing David regularly for a while now for some longstanding issues with pain and injury following an accident 20 years ago and can unhesitatingly recommend him as a highly talented and empathetic massage therapist with exceptional skills. After the first visit I felt better than I had in years and I knew I'd found a really special practitioner (and I've seen heaps). I've recommended him to family and friends and without exception they've all said 'total genius'. His skill lies in an outstanding knowledge of the body and its workings coupled with the ability to design a treatment totally appropriate to your situation. I feel totally able to relax in a session and trust him to work his magic. His treatments are powerful and effective. More than highly recommended.

Thankfully, I found David after six months of coping with a frozen shoulder, severe pain and restricted mobility and receiving weekly chiropractic and acupuncture treatments but all to no avail. He gave me hope and initial pain relief after the first visit. As I continued treatment with David, the more my pain dissolved and was able to sleep pain free - a joy after such a long time! This man and his healing hands are an absolute gift! I don't know whether it was my office worker posture or the intensity of my aerial training, but I had very sore shoulders that weren't getting better. After countless visits to the physio and chiropractor with no tangible change, I went to see David. After just one visit whilst I was a bit sore from the ‘panel beating' that afternoon, I was pain free the next day. Given the strain my activity and posture put on my neck and shoulders I know I should go regularly to keep things in alignment. But I confess time gets away and I tend to visit when I have sprung a proverbial leak. Each time David fixes me up and I continue on my merry way. This, by the way is not very often since I have been seeing David, his treatment keeps me fixed up for a long time. I highly recommend him, regardless of whether you have a specific issue to address, or whether you just need a bit of a tune up.

I came to David with a brief to help me with my 'office worker' syndrome of bad neck and upper back. In a few sessions David addressed these issues and started to help me rollback other tightness, misalignment and injuries that were affecting me. I very much appreciate David's goal of addressing the root cause of issues rather than just the symptomatic pain and how in doing so he employs his impressive knowledge of how the body's many parts work together. He gets results. I'm into sport as well, and David's other brief is regular maintenance on aches and pains which has reduced my need for other health professionals.

I had never had a myofascial release treatment before I went to see David last year. My first visit was for a muscle strain from running. David's treatment was thorough and I was able to run again within a few days. I have since returned to David half a dozen times over the last year to treat my running "niggles" and I have always been completely satisfied with my treatments. He can usually fix my problems within one or two visits and he always gives me great tips for specific stretches so I can look after my problem areas at home. So now rather than putting up with sore muscles and strains I go straight to David to get them fixed which allows me to keep up with my exercise routine and not risk a more serious injury. I could not have continued training for my first marathon without his support. Highly recommended.

As a massage therapist myself, I have high expectations of the massage I receive. Not only did David meet these expectation he far surpassed them! He was able to totally relieve me of pain and tension in the first treatment (which in itself is not surprising, I knew he would do a fabulous job which is why I saw him in the first place). What I have found surprising however, is that the results have LASTED for weeks after my treatment. Due to the physicality of my work, I have come to expect the tension to creep back into the muscles not long after a massage, so this is a huge blessing. I have never had another massage therapist achieve the longevity of results that David has after just one session. I am very much looking forward to my next treatment.

In December 2009, I was involved in a car accident that left me with severe pain and extremely limited motion in my neck and left shoulder. Feel better both physically and mentally. I had been suffering from painful neck and shoulder problems for some time, and seeing a succession of physiotherapists, with no relief. More than just a massage. I have seen many massage therapist for my various injuries, and none of them have come close to acheiving the results that David's techniques have. He is extremely knowledable and experienced - his skills are well beyound your average "conveyor-belt massage school graduates". David Wall - Myofascial Release. David is a highly professional practitioner who always gives at least one hundred precent effort to his clients. I have had at least 6 treatments and have had particularly good results with relieving muscle tension in my back and also arms and fingers. Being a musician, myofascial release has definitely been helpful to give me freedom of movement.
