On Wednesday night travelling from Bega to Melbourne I stopped here to park my Caravan for the night... This tiny little country pub just off the highway becomes extremely busy come dinner time and after having a meal here, I understand why. They have a number of Parmigiana options, I went with the Jim Beam BBQ Parma. I can not fault it in any way, the large chicken breast schnitzel was super juicy and topped with Jim Beam BBQ sauce, bacon, cheese and the most amazing onion rings I have ever eaten. On the side was a very fresh salad with house made dressing and a large serve of chips with an amazing outer crunch and velvet centres. My only complaint is it is too far from home to go every week. You simply must try this place and if your traveling with a caravan, Garry will direct you where to park for the night and make you most welcome, he will even offer you a hot shower. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the food is absolutely stunning.
