Staff here are friendly and efficient, for that it's almost a shame they don't have an eat in option. They take pride in their work and the kitchen is immaculately clean. Service and production was fast, though they weren't busy.
The pizzas are light and tasty and ingredients are fresh. With the special firestone oven, they have a wood-fired texture without the pricetag or smoke. They also do a whopping party size. My new fave in Eltham.
This is a really tricky one to review. It can not be compared to other pizza places as thier pizzas are more like the authenic italian pizzas with few ingredients and thin bases vs common pizzas which have mounds of toppings and thick bases.
The two pizzas we had were tasty, good crispy thin bases. The ingredients were fresh rather than the over processed stuff you normally get on pizzas. The cheese was just right for me rather than loads of it. There were fewer number of ingredients on the pizza but the proportion was right, you were able to taste each thing. Suprisingly they still filled us up as much as the mountain pizzas usually do.
We will certainly give them another go.
