The 45 minute wait for our entree to be served is not acceptable. At no point did anyone explain and/or apologise for the delay, or offered some bread and butter on the house. The concept of service was clearly lost.
This is not a fun place to dine and the experience will haunt us forever. There were plenty of bored, ultra unhappy and hungry faces that evening, understandbly as they too would be as hungry as us.

For entree, the escargot and pork belly dishes were ok (pork belly a tad too salty) but the king prawn dish was dissapointing as the prawns were small and dry looking and the chorizo it was not sufficient.

For mains, the beef cheek was ok but the duck parmentier was a bit dissapointing (especially the way it was served crammed in a ramekin), risotto was ok and the worst was the Casoulet. Very, very salty and in retrospect, I should have sent it back. Plus, it was too dry. yuck.

The wine list was interesting. Overly priced cheap options or just a step up into the great unknown or 65 dollar plus wines, not really what one looks for in York?

I don't think I will be rushing back.

Approximate cost: $30
