Count Dogula's Moonee Ponds

I've taken my dog to a few different groomers in the past and they have basically ruined his coat. So after letting his coat grow out for over a year, I decided to try Count Dogula's. I honestly couldn't be happier. They listened to my concerns and they as carefully not to ruin my dog's coat. They are lovely to deal with, reasonably priced, and stick to schedule well. I'll be sticking with Count Dogula's from now on.

Very good service. They were very accommodating and our dog got a really nice first haircut. He was managed and treated well.

The staff at Count Dogula's were very welcoming and they did a great job with Odess. He looked, smelt and felt amazing. Would definitely go back to them for future grooms.

Ruth made us feel at ease immediately. It was the first groom away from the breeder so we were so great full to have met Ruth. Our little Yorkie was done in the time specified and looked so handsome and smelt so good afterwards. His haircut was perfect.

I have just moved from Point Cook here and wasn't sure where to get my little one groomed, looked up on google and read some good reviews so I thought I would try, was such a positive experience, Ruth was so pleasant on the phone and then her staff was amazing with my little one! Think I've found the right place to go.

Ruth and her team were simply amazing. We've just moved to the area and Ruth offered to collect our puppies on her way past in the morning. The dogs were relaxed, well cared for and came home looking wonderful.

Ruth was very welcoming from the moment we walked in! My lil girl was in a very smelly state! When I picked her up, she was super shiny and smelt fresh! She looked adorable in her bandana too! Will recommend to my fur baby friends and will definitely be back. Thank you!

I sent a message through their website at 6.15am this morning when I found my dog in a mess. She had double sided tape everywhere, along with her whole coat matted. I received a call from Ruth as soon as they opened and they managed to fit Matilda in this morning! As it was only Matilda's second groom I was very nervous but the staff were all amazing. I have just collected my now fluffless baby girl, complete with a bandana. They were very understanding and have won my business! Couldn't be happier!

We recently acquired a four year old medium male poodle, re-homed from another family member. The dog had his first full groom earlier this month & we are delighted with the result! He is clipped all over rather than the poodle shape & looks very handsome indeed. We will be returning to Count Dogula's - great team!

We took our little pup (maverick) to his first grooming experience, we received nothing but top quality service which made not only maverick feel welcome but myself as the owner to be very comfortable with the milestone. great, friendly staff and would definitely recommend especially when the first groom is FREE! :)

We took our maltese cross poodle to Count Dogula's in Moonee Ponds recently for the first time. The staff were very caring. I have used a number of dog groomers and Count Dogula's stood out as doing the best job, the cut was very even, styled well and even the way her tail had been combed was very apparent that they had an eye for detail - I am confident if you took your dog to Count Dogula's that you will have the same experience - I look forward to taking my dog back when her next cut is due.

We are only new customers of Count Dogula's and I've now taken my 13 year old dog Sam, twice. Both times, he has been looked after very well. They do an excellent job, probably the best cuts he's ever had. All the staff are lovely, very friendly and really take care of our Sammy. Very happy customers and we will definitely become regulars.

My pooch has been a regular here until very recently. I called to warn the team about the changes in my dog since they last saw him - he is 14 and a half and since his last cut last summer, he has developed blindness and arthritis. I warned her and hoped that they would be able to handle such a case and they were willing. Upon picking him up, he was distressed. His nails were not clipped, his face had been left untrimmed and he had cuts all over his neck. I was charged $100. Will not be returning. My first online complaint but I felt obliged to warn other elderly dog owners that they cannot handle such cases and to go elsewhere

This was our first time at count dogula's and the service was above and beyond . My baby zoe was so scared when we first arrived but after a few minutes she calmed down and was so happy and seemed very calm . Ruth was just amazing with her and was a very calming person :} the girls are amazing groomers and are very careing ! we would not go anywere else .

We (including Rodney) are extremely pleased to have stumbled across Count Dogula one Saturday driving down Mt Alexander Road ! Rodney has been to a few groomers in his time, but he is adamant this is the best. Ruth and her team are caring, friendly, professional and accommodating. I was so impressed. One of my dogs I like him to be groomed a certain way and the groomer listened and did it perfectly. My other dog is old and they took such wonderful care of her.The price was reasonable and the customer service was outstanding.

Ruth and her team were fantastic, first time user and we are wrapped, won't go anyway else! Xena was in a bit of state after her last groom and we were a bit concerned as the last groomer left water in her ears causing her to get an ear infection. This time no issues and Xena had a good time, looked much happier when we picked her up, they were very quick and the whole team are professional and caring.

I have a Scottish terrier and wanted a traditional Scottie grooming for him - eyebrows, beard and skirt... I had been told by the breeder that Scottie groomers are very hard to find. However Master Hamish came out looking fantastic, great Scottie cut and trim and all carried out in a professional and caring manner. We will definitely be returning and I recommend Count Dogula's to any Scottish Terrier owners. Very happy with the grooming. I

I have taken my dog to Count Dogula's and I find the staff are very professional, and look after my dog, they are kind and compassionate and the type of grooming is outstanding, especially when Angela does my dog, Daisi loves to go there, and I would recommend this salon highly, you can also get all sorts of lovely Treats, Coats, to keep your special friend warm, Food, it is a one stop shop, and you will get good advice on some treatment for your loved one. I give this shop 10 out of 10.

After years of getting my beautiful fluffy friend groomed at many different places and seeing how stressed he got ... I knew I was in the right place when I walked into Count Dogulas and was greeted by the very friendly Ruth ... My pooch loved her instantly ... Ruth is clearly a dog person and treats dogs very gently and well ... Our fluffy friends are after all VERY intelligent and know how to read humans! Thanks Ruth and team!
