We had automatic transmission serviced and air conditoning re-gased
The most recent project was determining why the car (A 1984 Holden Camira SLX was extremely difficult to start when the motor was cold. The worked on the car over a period of 5 days, adjusting settings after letting the motor go really cold in between times on several occasions. They came and collected the car from home. They also waited a few days before they gave us the account to ensure that the job they had done was satisfactory. It was 5 years ago. A Holden dealership told us it could be a number of things and some of the parts they listed are not on that particular model at all. They also charge a considerably higher rate for labour too. They also now do servicing of vehicles. Many of my work colleagues use them on a regular basis. For health reasons,we no longer have our car or we would have continued to use their excellent services. The staff are friendly and certainly very experienced. The lady in the office has a very good knowledge of the mechanical trade too and can advise what the problem may be. She was "spot on".
