Copper Direct

I really wanted to love this product, especially after reading the claims on the website about premium craftsmanship and quality. Unfortunately, my experience didn’t live up to those expectations.

When my bottle arrived, the overall presentation was disappointing. The packaging looked worn, the foam pad on the base of the bottle appeared uneven and partially peeling away, and the cleaning instructions contained obvious spelling and grammatical errors. Individually these may seem like minor issues, but together they gave the impression of a product that lacked the attention to detail I expected from a premium-priced copper bottle.

I contacted customer service immediately. To their credit, they were polite throughout the process and did offer me a 15% partial refund. However, I had hoped to return the bottle unused for a full refund, as I no longer had confidence in the product based on its overall presentation. My request was declined because they considered the issues to be cosmetic.

I have decided to keep the bottle rather than continue pursuing the matter, but I came away disappointed with both the product and the outcome.

If you’re considering purchasing, I recommend doing thorough research and comparing other brands before making your decision. My experience simply did not reflect the premium quality that I was expecting.

Also, checkout their Facebook. They have hidden customers comments. Seems sus.

I purchased my copper water bottle with an open mind and excited about the health claims.

After only two days use, I decided I could not use it any more.

Despite going through the pre- care wash process of the bottle, i found the copper flavour too strong and left me feeling nauseas after use.
The moment I decided I couldn't use it, I actually wanted to vomit.

I'll admit, I didn't read anything on the site about the process of using a copper water bottle and have Googled and found, since this experience, that copper leeches in to the water and some people will have a negative reaction.

However, when I contacted Copper Direct to request a refund (their email address provided bounced BTW and you have to use the online form), my request was only met with a long-winded reply about how what I am experiencing means that the bottle is "working".

I persisted with requesting a refund and there has been NO reply.

If you feel this product us not for you, DO NOT EXPECT EMPATHY OR A REFUND.
This product has just become an expensive recycling item.
