Lovely hot chocolate, perfect desserts! Cocolat is still going strong. There is nothing more perfect than sitting in a comfortable cafe with the scent of freshly brewing chocolate and coffee wafts over you!
Been here a few times lately, warm, busy, and the coffee is great. I received two free truffles for my birthday last time I went, have the cocolat card, was unexpected and nice.
Approximate cost: $10.
It's been a while since I last frequented this place. Can say that the food is still as good as it used to be.
The people are a bit quieter this time round. Didn't get noticed straight away, like they would rather tend to whatever they're doing and wait till I called to them. Not sure I like that. Maybe they were having a bad day.
Anyway, it's still a very nice place and somewhere good to frequent
Approximate cost: $avg
We used Cocolat for our wedding cake. We went with a caramel fudge with white chcolate shards and gold hearts in the centre on wires. The cake was totally amazing and looked and tasted delicious. Everyone loved it and it was great to have something different to the tradional fruit cake and fondant etc. Was well priced and there was plenty to go round.
Approximate cost: $500
I really enjoy coming here with a group of friends, sitting down and trying their amazing crepes! The chocolate is of unbelievable quality and they have many creative ways of serving it so that it appeals to everyone.
The dining area is comfy and has a good atmosphere. The staff are normally quite friendly and will answer any questions you might have.
Approximate cost: $12
I visit Cocolat at least once a month as I love the welcoming environment. It is a spacious area that allows you to be immersed in conversation with your friends but not so quiet that you feel you aren't part of a good atmosphere. I have had many different things off the menu but my particularly recommendations would be either the milkshakes in which you pick any ice cream flavour, or the triple chocolate crepes which are to die for. It is a great spot for many occasions. I have been there for coffee, breakfast, and dessert after dinner.
Approximate cost: $10
Cocolat provides a calm, soothing environment where customers can unwind and relax whilst enjoying delectable desserts or simply sipping on a hot cup of cocoa. Their range of chocolate infused desserts, along with their range of drinks, makes this the perfect location for an enjoyable outing any time of the day or night. Some of the menu items might seem a little on the pricier side, but that is compensated with service and cosy setting.
Great way to finish the evening at the fringe last night. A genuine hot chocolate and gelato. Wow the range of flavours are great and many to choose from. Loved the flavours that we chose. Well done guys
The desserts here are sooooo sweet!! the prices are quite high but that's expected at dessert houses such as this one! great place to go on a date or with your girlfriend/boyfriend :)
The service is mostly great, although I've had some of the younger staff get a but huffy if you mix up your order, change your mind, or count out change. But holy hell, their chocolate desserts are delicious!!
What a great alternative to a normal, dull coffee shop and such a convenient location!
I often go here before a movie on Rundle Street.
I have only been to the shop several times but I like it. It's a nice place to hang out and have a good chat with friends. I like the interior of the shop. It's comfy and their staff are good. I guess their price is also acceptable.
Delicious chocolate shop, one of the best in Adelaide. White Hot Chocolate is a must try! Go there monthly with a group of friends. Perfect place for catch-ups
Fantastic coffee shop that has an amazing range of chocolate. They also do great coffee and dessert crepes. Great location and lovely staff. Quite a big store too.
Mmmm delicious. Wonderful food like its sister cafe at the airport wonderful hot choc and choc desserts. Quite a big long cafe with all sorts of various seating options. Lovely atmosphere and comfortable. It is not cheap but worth it for occasional treat.
I love Rundle Street and this place is a highlight. Whether coming in summer or winter, the setting is great. Cakes and hot chocolate - amazing
One of my favorite cares. Such great quality and service. The products are amazing and any chocolate lover must visit this cafe. Can be a bit pricey but is worth it every now and then
Desserts tend to be a bit pricey but to be expected for dedicated chocolate cafes like this. I love their cake range. Great place to catch up with friends over a hot chocolate. Decor and seating is very comfortable and made me feel at home.
Love this yummy cafe, pancakes with salmon are my favorites, ice-cream is tasty too, great place to meet friend for a cup of coffee and cake
Approximate cost: $12.95
This is a popular catchup place of mine, there's great selection and cosy chairs. Staff are courteous. My favourite is still the original hot chocolate.
Great meeting place for friends after work or for a coffee with friends. They make a great range of cakes - I had my 21st cake from Cocolat and it was wonderful! Yummy yummy icecream too!
I love this place. Great atmosphere, great chocolate, especially the strawberry crepes. The staff are really friendly and it's a great place to meet up with a larger group of friends, although it's best to book if you're going to do that!
This place does fantastic drinks and sweet treats. The staff are really fun and friendly and the prices are quite reasonable for a specialist cafe. It's a good thing that I don't live too close to this place or I'd be there all the time!
Cocolat both sells chocolate, and serves chocolate drinks on site. I have visited the place several times, and always go back for their delicious hot drinks as they are often extremely rich and flavourful. Their chocolate is always smooth, and if you feel like a little something different, try it with chilli as the Mayan's historically did. If you're a chocoholic, this place is a must!
