Is there anything more relaxing than after an intense day in the city with kids to sit back and chill with a smooth rich coffee?
As you kick back and replenish the energy levels, the kids can dose up with more sugar in the shape of a cupcake or ice cream.
Well that's what Coco Noir just off Pitts Street has to offer. It is rather busy, so I had to get lucky and get a side table and position the pram in the very busy thorough fare, so "pram friendly" it ain't.
But it does have a variety of fresh cakes, with my Tiramisu coming with some awesome ice cream and the coffee rich and full in texture.
My kids chocolate cupcake with sprinkles was a little dry, but he wasn't disappointed. No table service which isn't the end of the world, just noted. Which is a shame as we all wanted more, but Daddy was too lazy to order more food (and leave the kids) and return to the table.
Ultra busy cafe, in great location, where you can enjoy the little things in life to escape the CBD even for a fleeting moment of indulgence.

Coco Noir is a delightful cafe inside Sydney Westfield and a great place to stop for lunch or dessert. The decor is nice and the location is central. They sell a wide selection of savory lunch options and cakes/tarts/macaroons. I do find the service to be a tad slow, even when there is barely any customers, so Coco Noir could definitely work on that.
This is a nice cafe located on the pitt street mall level of the Westfield (under the Tower). The decor is fabulous and the service is good. Order and pay at the counter. They serve light meals, sweet treats and good coffee. Plenty of room to move around and park a pram if you need to.
I had a piece of slice and coffee here, cost $8.50, about what I expected for the location, cake and coffee "special" was $11.50 (but as with most of these places, the size of the piece of cake would easily feed two, so would be good value if you had a coffee each and cake to share).
Service was friendly and fairly fast, couldn't really fault anything.
