I was checking on some work nearby and booked in for a night. I cannot say the room was worth the price at $105, desperately in need of some renovations, the toilet dripped all night which made it difficult to sleep. The room wasn't spacious, not that I expected that it would be, the bed was ok.
I joined my fellow work colleagues in their pub for dinner but had to wait until 6pm. Most of us ordered the roast of the day priced at $22, it was roast pork and it may have been roasted at some stage but what I was given was not fresh, it was obvious that it had been reheated, my fellow workmates agreed as we all had the same. The side of vegetables was also rather uninteresting and tasteless. Overall, a very disappointing meal. However, that staff were very friendly and quick with our meals - probably because they were not fresh.
A nice old pub with plenty of areas to enjoy your meal, the staff were very friendly and our meals were served up within 10 minutes of ordering.
My husband and I felt their regular menu prices were a bit high so we chose from their specials of the day menu. My husband went with the flake, salad and chips and I tried the quesadillas with avocado dip and I ordered a side of fries for an extra $6, it was a very small serve of fries and not worth $6. However, my quesadillas were absolutely delicious, the serving was big enough for 2 people. The fish and chips and my quesadillas were $16 each, nicely priced and enjoyable.
