Rude and dishonest
I purchased a rescue dog from CK. Their posts of him were dishonest. They even photoshopped his photographs to hide his true state.
When I picked him up he was clearly withdrawn and had massive infections around his eyes which were bleeding. Cassy told me she would “post” some cream to me.
On arriving home he unfortunately escaped without even setting a paw inside my home.
I spent 2 days and nights walking the streets, setting traps and begging people to help me locate him. Thankfully my kids found him in a unit behind my home. He is now happy, healthy and his eyes are healed.
CK on the other hand have blocked me, refuse to transfer ownership, and have yet to send me any vet details for him.
Considering they charge highly for their rescues, I’m extremely disappointed in all aspects of this adoption.
I do not recommend them.

How wonderful is the work carried out by CK Rescue. So many animals are saved and then rehabilitated by this wonderful animal rescue group who then work tirelessly to find the right home for each animal. As a lifelong cat owner and new dog owner I admire this amazing organization.
CK Rescue work tirelessly (and in their own personal time) to change the lives of precious animals who may have otherwise lost all hope. This makes them awesome in my book!

CK Rescue are the most compassionate, caring and dedicated Rescue Group i have ever come across. Their number one aim is the Rescue animal. They search high and low for the right home not just the first one they come across. All animals deserve the best and CK Rescue ensures that they do get the best new home. Well done guys in such a hard environment.

What an amazing rescue. CK has gone above and beyond in helping secure loving foster homes for dogs otherwise trapped in the pound system. Thank you CK rescue from the Japanese Spitz community.

CK Rescue are amazing. They put dogs and cats into foster homes and these animals that are going to be euthanised a lot of the time get all of the love, vet care and good food , they require and then they find these animals a wonderful family to live with . I have had the absolute privilege of being personally involved in rescues where dogs and cats would have been euthanised if it wasn’t for CK . I think it’s really sad and unfair of people to leave bad reviews because they missed out on adoption. They have no idea who the other applicants were and what actually suits the dog , it’s nothing personal if a home is a fraction better than what you offered. People really need to see all of the animals that get saved and helped before leaving negative comments! Everything CK does is done with so much care , even in their communications
I adopted my cat from this rescue group and I'm truly in love with her best thing that ever happened to me and I had a great experience with CK who even follow up to see how she's going ️
Extremely rude. poor customer service
I found this company CK Rescue through Facebook and was very interested in a particular dog I sent through all my details even a photo of myself as I’m currently getting treatment for cancer.
I finally got a reply back and this lady was so rude. My heart sunk. She said to the words of these affect. Find the application page and get in the queue like everyone else. How rude is this woman?
Sent to application forms in now. I’ve heard nothing. I am the most loving loyal owner for an animal. This woman doesn’t like humans. She has a record of being very rude. I think everyone should know about this. This beautiful dog that I’m interested in who knows what’s happening so pathetic, I’m gonna 3aW and let everyone know this woman. I even donated $500 via PayPal so they could treat their animals not a word back.
Briony from CK rescue, Doreen contacted me after my application was shortlisted to adopt one of the puppies. Briony asked me whether I'm interested to take puppy on the same day itself, I said I'll come in a day or two with one more person as I've come alone and it is difficult to take puppy by myself in car (it is approx 1 hr drive). Next day onwards Briony stopped answering my calls and texts. Not sure why!! She didn't have basic courtesy to give reason for not proceeding with my application. The amount of fee they are collecting for this particular breed, we can easily buy from breeders but we wanted to adopt to give good life to these abandoned puppies. Hope the CK rescue team gives same respect n care towards human beings as they give to animals.
I would not recommend CK rescue to anyone. My friend was unaware that her dog had been taken to the pound. CK rescue did an amazing job at rescuing the dog there is no denying that. But after my friend contacted them to source out getting her dog back her story was not listened too, she was block on all social media and told that the issue was out of their hands even after my friend had offered to pay any costs associated with the dog being rescued and re homed. The owner has been and continues to be extremely rude about the situation. Poor effort especially coming from a rescue centre when the dogs or animals should be first priority and always be reunited with their rightful owners.
