Not a huge range but its your local book store so what do you expect. the prices are also what you expect which is average price for a store but high in comparison to online shopping. other than than service is good
staff are friendly, quiet store a little pricey for books considering you can get them so cheap on the internet. but what do you expect from a small local book shop.
Yes, I guess if you urgently needed a book, and couldn't wait for online shipping, then this would be a fine place to go.

I'd really like to be able to support this local shop more than I do, especially as I wouldn't like to see small bookshops disappear. However, it is difficult for them to meet or beat the prices available at larger stores and online. They stock some interesting books but their range is limited due to being a small shop. The service is adequate but some assistants I've met do not seem to have as much knowledge about books as I expect in a dedicated bookstore.
I agree with online stores being much more competitive in pricing.
The staff are constantly changing here and the prices are significantly more expensive than other stores. I usually like to support small businesses instead of Borders etc. however for some items the books are almost double the price which can be difficult sometimes.
I wonder if there is a way they can lower their prices in order to get more customers.
