I had to have a prescription filled that I had not used previously and the counter assistant asked me if I was familiar with the product, to which my response was no this is the first time. She then asked me to wait a moment and called the pharmacist to explain the do's and don'ts. The Pharmacist was really thorough checking that I completely understood the side effects and made sure that I knew how to use the medication properly. (I have had explanations before but this has usually been carried out by the counter assistant.) I left feeling that I was a valued customer and that someone really cared that I was taking the medication as it was intended which was very reassuring when I was feeling unwell.
