This company has appalling customer service.

I ordered pre order products in early August. They were supposed to ship in mid August. Late August with no shipping and I contacted the company asking for an update. I was told that they had not yet arrived but at that stage it wasn’t an issue as I could wait a while and they indicated they were on their way.

When mid September rolled around and still no update, I contacted them again and was offered a refund should I want one.

I then emailed no less than 3 times asking them to honour that and provide a refund. All of my emails were totally ignored. I went to fair trading. They continued to ignore my requests for a refund and then shipped the items to me much too late to be of use.

I emailed again. Requesting a refund and offering to return the unopened package to them given that they had gone ahead and shipped it despite me requesting my money back. I finally heard from Alex (only after I had mentioned fair trading) who said if I returned the items they would refund me the cost of my order and the cost of postage if I supplied a receipt.

I sent the items back over two weeks ago, provided a receipt and have had confirmation from Australia Post that my items have been received. I have emailed 3 times requesting an update on the refund I am owed and for confirmation that they have received the items. Not a single response. Now they have the items and my money.

Absolutely appalling business. They ignore people in hopes that they will just go away, stop answering when people want their money back despite not delivering products when they say they will, ship unwanted items to try to get you to give up and then take returned items and keep your money with zero response or update.

Do not ever shop here unless you’d like to throw away your dollars.

Paid and ordered in MAY. Waited with changing ‘expected’ dates and limited email/support responses, with false promises made via email of issues and new delivery dates due to ‘staff changes’ and ‘warehouse issues’. Finally received SOME of my product in OCTOBER (5 months later) with parts of the order still missing. Now the process of lake of communication back from them and ghosting responses. Definitely embarrassing for an Aussie Company.

Update- have just been informed after waiting 8 months for my order that I will not be receiving it this year…. 8 months later and they still couldn’t give me an estimated date or ensure the product was even eventually still coming. A refund has been requested.

I love the cheeky chickadee swimmers, hats and clothes. I would highly recommend, they last well, we got two years out of my daughter's swimmers, and they still were in good condition, enough to hand on to my niece who is now wearing them!! They are so cute when the family all matches too. We get compliments every time we wear them to the pool or beach. My last order came with an item missing, I contacted cheeky chickadee support, they replied straight away and shipped the item that day and it arrived 3 business days later. very easy to deal with and were happy and quick to help. Would recommend.

I have been a customer for years and recently had a faulty quilt I requested a replacement to which I was told I would not be offered one as they decided I'm a fussy customer. This bias based on my having maybe 4 orders with issues of faults out of nearly 90 orders through thier business. They then tried to tell me not to order from them again because I wouldn't accept there refusal to do the right thing by thier own policies and consumer rights. Absolute joke and I'm not the first or last customer to be bullied/treated poorly for raising issues towards quality!

I just purchased a Mystery Bundle from Cheeky Chickadee and it was the best surprise ever!! I normally shy away from these as most businesses use them to get rid of old stock they can't sell but mine was fantastic. It had 2 brand new prints from their latest summer release plus two other prints that I had not purchased as of yet and now wish I had. I bought a size 9 girls mixed bundle and received two girls zip swimmers, a twirl dress and a beach hat all for $75. An insanely good deal considering that three of the 4 items are full price on the website now. I cant recommend Cheeky Chickadee enough and if you ever get a chance to buy a bundle when they offer them (not that often, sadly) then jump on that opportunity because they are an awesome surprise!

I have been a long term customer with Cheeky Chickadee (going on 3 years now) and I recommend their clothing and swimwear. We love the matching family options and unique prints. It makes finding my kids at the beach so much easier and we always get stopped wherever we go to ask where we purchased them. They are sunsafe, pretty to look at and they are long wearing. My youngest is now using the first swim costume we purchased for our eldest so I definitely find them good value for money.
