Canny Architect

I am a current Canny customer and I DO NOT RECOMMEND CANNY. Our 10 month project is now on month 22 with no end in sight. Such a poorly run company. A revolving door of personnel- 5 different site managers, 3 different project point people. So many mistakes and lies, it is not even funny. Every time something goes wrong, they try to blame someone else. No integrity at all, they will tell you whatever you want to hear, then after the contract is signed you are assigned to different people who couldn't care less. One contractor with many Canny customers told me all his Canny customers are having similar issues, he says Canny is making his company look bad. The locksmith I hired told me they have banned Canny as a customer because they did a job and Canny didn't pay. I can't believe this company could possibly stay in business much longer.

I am using Canny now and I really regret it. I don't think they could keep a promise if their life depended on it.

My construction was supposed to be completed by now (I was given a 'personal guarantee' by the head of construction that it would be finished 10 days ago) and now they won't even answer my emails about when it will be done.

Plus, they are extremely chauvinistic- when I ask a question, they ignore it, but when the same question is asked coming from my husband's email address, they immediately respond. For example, because I was not receiving answers as to when our overdue project was to be completed, I wrote an email for my husband to send to Canny. Once they received his email, Canny immediately got to action to respond, even calling me to ask if I had heard from one of Canny's recommended vendors because the vendor wasn't responding to Canny. They told me they were trying to get the information needed to respond to my husband's email. They did respond to him and they failed to even copy me on the email. This, despite the fact that the house is in my name, the money for the construction is coming from me, and the contract with Canny is in my name, not my husband's, and my husband does not wish to be involved.

Furthermore, there have been serious issues with Canny's recommended contractors. For example, we are currently having a fight with one who grossly overcharged us, and we feel we were setup for this overcharging with Canny's help.

To be fair, the home is looking good, but if I had it to do all over again, I would definitely not have selected Canny.
