I started using this service when I went on a diet. It really helps me watch the calories I am taking in day by day. I strongly recommend anyone who is trying to lose weight, to use the services that CalorieKing has to offer.

What an amazing and free online service. I also have the book to carry around with me. It is often very hard to work out best options or calorie traps. This is so easy to use and informative. I recommend it to everyone and use it often.

I just recently are interested to get back into shape. Found the webside and the best part, all the information is free as it is supposed to be.for all different types of food you find the exact amount of cals or kilojoule. I'm new to the game, but get the hang of it with the king

A completely free service that lets you track all the calories and exercise of your day. There is a library and university full of information, plus forums where you can have any question answered or any topic pondered. It's a great service that is effective. You can also add your own recipes in to get the nutritional information which is very handy.

CalorieKing is the website version of Allan Borushek's Calorie and Fat Counter book that you can buy in any newsagent. It has a comprehensive food database although you might find the book easier to use. In addition to its database however, it has a club that you can join for free (it will become a paid service at some point in the future but I'm not sure when) to assist you in getting to your target weight. You can check in once a week with your weight and measurements and plot your progress as you go. You can also join the forums and talk to other members who are facing the same dilemmas you are. You can take your profile and see what Calorie King thinks is your ideal calorie intake for your particular situation. When you've lost a bit of weight it's a good idea to take your profile again and see if the recommendation has changed. It's a great tool for those who are trying to lose weight, gain weight or maintain weight as if you fill out the profile correctly it will give you a guideline for each of those situations. There are others in the forums who are in the same situation as you and you will find lots of valuable information.

I should add to that this site gives you access to a daily food diary to record your food.

I have found this website invaluable for retraining myself in the way I think about food and dieting. It tailors a food and exercise plan to your needs and leaves all the decisions up to you. There are so many resources available that it is almost impossible to keep up with them all and it is nice knowing there are other people on line that are dealing with the same struggles I am. The support and informational resources on CalorieKing.com.au are invaluable to me.

It's a fantastic weight loss website. Firstly, it's free which makes a big differenc as you know they aren't after you for money. It lets you choose your own foods, you don't have to follow a plan, so it's very flexible and easier to follow on the long term. It has a "university" where it has online lessons on food, nutrition, exercise and lifestyle for 12 weeks which is good too - something they should teach all Australians. They have a forum which is excellent for support and also blogs too that other users often read and help motivate you. It's more of a community than just a weight loss site.

I think this site is great if you want to know how much calories are in the different foods that you consume but it's always good to keep in mind that you shouldn't stay away from good fats, minerals and vitamins. It isn't always about the calories. It's a good site just keep that in mind.
