Love this place, it's been a regular for years. It's always so busy so make sure you book. My husband is not a lover of tiny meals lol so when we first dined here and he got a great serving of food, he was sold. The atmosphere is great with loads of meals and desserts to chose from ... And the cocktails .... Yum yum yum .. Our kids are young adults now so they take their own friends, it's always a safe and fun place for them to enjoy themselves

the meals here are great, the staff are friendly and very helpful when it comes , to ordering the down side is that they dont let you know everything that is on the place so be choosie as to what you order, the service is quite fast compared to other restraunts so enjoy you mean and you can go as a group and have a great evening with great food and beverages

The Loganholme Cactus Jacks is always crazy busy, but if you get there earlish for dinner, or make a booking when you have sufficient people going, it is easy enough to get in.
The food is generally quite good, the staff and lovely and friendly and the food doesn't take long to arrive at your table. Even when you have multiple people, they tend to get the food for everyone to the table at the same time.
Only issue I have had is that their menu ingredients don't list all things in the actual food, just some of them. I ordered a dish because the long list didn't include corn, which I can't eat, and then had the food arrive and it had corn. Apparently they just list the key ingredients. Since I discovered that, I just ask the waitress to check and haven't had a problem, just worth the warning I figure.
The main positive though, if you are there with a group, they allow you to pay individually - you shouldn't get stuck with the horrible "one bill per table" surprise at the end of your meal.

After moving to Brisbane from Townsvile, I was very excited to find a Cactus Jacks a bit closer to home - and it didn't disappoint. The Mexican Matchsticks are just as good as I remember and the rest of the food is great to. It is tex mex style food, but a bit different to the usual mexican restaurants. It would have been nice (for a pregnant lady) to have the toilet located a bit closer to the restaurant though.

Cactus Jacks Bar & Grill has great food, like crispy chicken and BBQ ribs. Jacks is a great place to hang out.

Great food with lively atmostphere! their fajita , crispy chicken salad is must try. BBQ ribs and chicken wings are not so good. Choco nacho is must have for dessert. It is a quite popular place and you expect waiting time to be seated.

I loved the food, it was value for money and the food would be what I would find the a 5 star cafe.

With 4 kids we are always on a look out for a bargain. These guys have an all you can eat chilli con carne night on a Tuesday - I think it was $12 a head? Great food, good service and the decor is fun. Overall a great experience!

this was a bit dissapointing. the food was reasonably priced, the service good, but the food was a bit bland.

We went there for our anniversary dinner. love their indoor settings and decorations. Their Chocolate nachos, my wife's favourite. Their strawberry mocktail, my boy finished it all up just by himself and wanted more. Crew staff did come to us to ask how food was but she seemed like just doing part of her task routine on the list. No smiles, could not sense her sincerity. Perhaps they are just tired.

BEAUTIFUL FOOD!! We always get fahitas when we go here and they are delicious. Great atmosphere and friendly staff boost them to a 5 star restaurant.

I'm a big fan of Cactus Jacks, I have one in my hometown up North, but when I was visiting relatives down in Brisbane, I recommended to try out Cactus Jacks.
... I was really disappointed with the service of the staff. Granted it was a Friday night, we were placed outside the restaurant, we had to wait at least an hour and half (round abouts) for our meals to be served. Even for entrees! Normally at the Cactus Jacks in Townsville - staff constantly come out to check on you and offer drinks, but this one, we didn't even get that kind of service. I actually had to go into the restaurant just to find someone who would take our drinks orders/refills as well as chasing up my cousin's meal (hers came out last). Even when we were finished eating and waiting for dessert, we had to pile the plates on the table and push them aside just to make room for the dessert - they took ages to clear those plates away. Normally the staff take the plates away when they bring out the dessert, if not sooner, but definitely not after! Cactus Jacks Logan definitely has room for improvement in terms of service. Food and value for money WAS good - it's just the service which was disappointing. My recommendation to the business would be to ensure your customers, both inside AND outside of the restaurant are being taken care of. Regardless of where you sit, the staff should be checking on ALL customers as we pay the same as anyone who is sitting inside the restaurant.

I love 'Chilli Tuesdays' All you can eat Chilli con Carne for a reasonable price of $10 dollars. The kids love it as well, as it is not too spicy. And we also love their Chocolate nachos. A delicious dessert of corn chips bathed in chocolate sauce top with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Yum yum!!!!

I love Cactus Jack's! Their food is delicious. My boyfriend is Gluten Intolerant and a Vegetarian, so feeding him is a bit tricky, but we have had no problems finding a few things at Cactus Jacks that he is able to eat, which is excellent!

The food is always delicious. Very reasonably priced, and generous serving sizes. The staff have always been friendly.

It cost us $70 one time - that included a cocktail, 2 mains, 2 entrees, and dessert. Pretty good value in my opinion!

I regularly go here. Majority of the time I am there on the weekend so generally there for cocktails, very good I might add and very cheap. Food is good and very filling. Love the fajitas and enchiladas :)

Great service, awsome cocktails this is a must try!! I reccomend chilli TUESDAYS as it is all you can eat chilli concarne for only 8 bucks!!! Grab a cocktail while you are at it, there are up to 25 cocktails to choose from. Great atmosphere and the staff are always very friendly

***See my bad experience at Gilhooley's first!*** We went here after being told to 'get the f**k out' by a manager at Gilhooley's. Cactus Jack's could not fit us in for 45 mins and we had to leave around then. We explained we were on a Hen's night and had just been treated appalling bad by the manager at another restaurant across the way. The maitre'd came over and said he had found us a table and we were seated straight away. The drinks waiter was upon us immediately and you pay as you go so no fights at the end of the night of who drank what etc... they were pretty reasonable too. About $9 - $10 per cocktail! and about $3.50 for a softdrink. The food was delicious and was served within 15 to 20 mins even though the venue was pumping and full to the brim with people. All the staff were relaxed and happy and friendly to each other and the patrons. There was not a sad person in the place and even the patrons kept coming over and saying congratulations to our Hen! She had a fabulous night and we paid compliments to the manager Chris who was also very lovely and he gave our Hen a big hug and kiss! And Mathew and Tom and Sam, and I can't remember all their names sorry but you guys are the best.

If you really want a great night out - go there. 6 of us ate for $100!!! what more can you ask for really!!!

I really liked the friendly fun atmosphere. The staff were fantastic and the food was to die for! Even if you are not a mexican fan the salads and other meals are for you! Nothing spicy if you don't want it! The prices were very reasonable and the menu was diverse.

We even got a free shot at the end of the night (though not sure everyone does) but what a great night for our Hen!!!

Love it and recommend it and just can't get enough of it!!! Go there!!!
