Bunnings

I finally got to see this new Bunnings Store, in my area, we went on Sunday, it was busy.

Massive store, lots to see, great little play area for the kids, right next to the cafe which is a good spot.
They had face painting and craft for the kids. My kids thought that was grand.

Hubby wanted to attend a workshop we asked some staff members but they didn't know about the workshop, thankfully we found a staff member that did show hubby how to do the job that has been on hubby's to do list for the last 3 years.

Everything laid out neatly, heaps of staff members around, friendly store greeter, loads of parking.

We will back for more shopping.

dropped in to buy some hardware on our way home from ikea. what a pleasant surprise, big store. we were after tiles to finish renovation, young chap named Chris approached us and we went from there. he was so knowledgeable and nothing was any problems. even took my wife and tiles to their kitchen area and showed her what it would look like. we bought his recommendations and he went through and packed them into our car. he really went out of his way to help us. we have shopped at many bunnings and all are generally helpful but Chris went that extra and it was real. nothing pretentious, just a real honest and helpful person. he lives in Wollongong and thats about 100 minute drive each way each day. how conscientious is that. wish I could remember his last name, think it was Bragt or Brugt, anyway he is Chris in the tiling section of Bunnings at Rydalmere.
