Great selection of books, love that theres a Gloria Jeans. Good service. The books are quite expensive though.
Well, coming back from an overseas trip to LA, the borders at Parramatta is exactly the same. I love this place and luckily it's close to where i live.
this place has everything you want except staff.I can never find a staff member when I need one and the prices aren't that cheap.
Approximate cost: $35
Many books to choose from, and they also have a great variety of movies, music, etc. I love to read instore and will definitely visit again.
Really good atmosphere, will definitely visit again
Wide variety and awesome range, better than a lot of others.
The Gloria Jeans is a plus!
Borders Parramatta, has and excellent variety of books for a great value with numerous sales. My favourites are travel and food which there is always an endless supply if not they will ordered it in for you and call you once it in store. The Service is fantastic if you have any questions they will answer and help find what you are looking for.
I like this store because of its abundance of books published in the USA. They have many bargains and stock many of my favorite mystery-fiction authors. Picked up art supplies and wrapping paper on sale, too. Check out their stationery area, they have unique journals.
I'm so sad that this brand is shutting down!!!
A wonderland of worlds, characters and pure magic - I feel like Alice whenever I step into Borders. Also the additional benefit of Gloria Jeans just adds to the bonuss of just being there. Mums and Dads, your children will benefit from Borders more than anything else!
Approximate cost: $25
Have had coffee at here a few times now, the coffees are so yummy and fresh
The service is good too, the staff members are always friendly and with a smile
The sitting area isn't always clean, not sure why they cannot do a clean up in between customers?
Overall not a bad experience
Approximate cost: $6.00
A great bookstore with a cafe in it so that you can grab a coffee and read the book you just purchased. Staff are friendly and helpful. This bookstore usually has discounts so you can always grab a bargain.
Good bookshop with a coffee bar upstairs. They have seats so you can sit down and have a look through something before you purchase it. CD selection isn't very good, though.
A pretty good selection of books and prices are reasonable. They don't have a huge music selection though.
Wow what a great bookshop if you want to take your time before you decide this is the pace for you. They even have a coffee shop and seating throughout the shop for you to read and most importantly one of the best selection of books ever
Approximate cost: $100
Borders is where I go to reward myself. The range of books is mind boggling. This is the place you go to buy a present for the friend or relative who has everything. With a Gloria Jeans Coffee Shop located within the store you could quite easily spend a day in Borders. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and very approachable.
Borders have the best choice in books - it is like being in a library. There is a Gloria Jeans coffee shop there as well that allows you to browse and read. There is also a good range of stationary, cds, DVDs and magazines. Always great bargains as well.
I went in looking for a particular book, when I was unable to locate it, the friendly and very helpful staff suggested some great alternatives. I ended up leaving with several other Authors I'd never heard of. I'd definitely recommend the store for its helpful and informative staff.
I go to Borders at least once a week, The staff are super friendly and supportive and the products are AMAZING!! The only thing that annoys me is the prices. They are very over priced.
Approximate cost: $75
Great customer service, all the staff were very informative and helpfull. I have been to other borders bookstores, this has to be my favourite place of all. also the shelves and signs are displayed very well displayed. The orgainisation and variety of books and resourses were also attractive. The children's section is also very attractive. Overall, the layout and service is great and also very roomy.
Borders is an amazing shop, friendly staff, regular offers and specials. terrific location, even boasts 3 levels of entertainment cd, books, magazines and has a coffee shop for everyones enjoyment to enjoy books
Approximate cost: $19.99
Borders certainly know how to cater to the book, dvd and music lovers. If you can't find it anywhere else, chances are you can either find it at borders, order it in, or one of the friendly staff will be able to tell you where you might find it.
The only downside I find with Borders is their prices. They are much higher than the need to be and certainly higher than at other stores or online. But nonetheless, if you love the big bookstore experience, you should definately go to Borders.
A relaxing and pleasant atmosphere it was to have a coffee in a location where it was very quite and relaxed.Gloria Jeans also offered a great variety in hot foods, service was excellent.
Approximate cost: $8.50
Their products are in great quality. They have a nicely positioned cafe inside the area and you can stay there for hours browsing the books and other materials. The prices of their products are a bit expensive though, being at least 30% more expensive than the books in Kinokuniya per se.
I could get lost in Borders for hours! It is an amazing shop with a huge variety of books, all presented in a beautiful atmosphere. I was particularly impressed with their psychology and pregnancy sections, which had titles I'd never seen elsewhere, and at reasonable prices.
The products are quite expensive but they have a wide variety of books to choose from. I shop there occasionally and they have good customer service. it's close to gloria jeans coffee. I always check out the catalogues before entering the store.
this place had great friendly staff that gave good, truthful advice on the product that i was interested in purchasing. it has a huge range of books, CDs, DVDs etc
Borders is the best place to be for a person who needs some time out of same everyday activities. Borders offers great variety of books and is suitable for people of all ages. I visit border on a fortnightly basis and I can find the books I want. Once I was not able to find a book on TM1. The team members are also very helpful and are able to suggest other possible stores if they don't sell a particular book. I, at times, just sit with a novel and read a bit of it till I am satisfied that the novel will be interesting before buying it. I have bought so many Sudukos and other thriller novels from this store.
Approximate cost: $30
Great store, but lacked in the help department. great range of books and self help equipment, but it would of been nice to have a little more help in finding what i wanted alot sooner.
Great store. Large with a great selection. There are not that many staff so you need to go looking for people to get any service. However the staff there are very friendly and helpful. Otherwise a great place and the coffee shop a great idea. Prices are comparable with other places.
Approximate cost: $40
