I had a very disappointing experience with this company for my bond clean and would not recommend them.
The cleaning quality was very poor and did not meet the standard expected for an end-of-lease clean. I was told a team would attend, but only one person arrived, which was misleading from the start.
When the cleaner arrived, I was unexpectedly told I needed to pay an additional $120 for window cleaning. I was informed that if I did not pay, the cleaner would leave, and due to their cancellation policy I would lose the $599 I had already paid. This put me in a very uncomfortable position and made me feel pressured and unsafe in my own home.
I offered to clean the windows myself, but was still told I had to pay the extra $120 regardless. In the end, the windows were not cleaned properly, and this was specifically listed by the agent during the exit inspection.
Because the cleaning was done so poorly, the property owner arranged another full clean, which I then had to pay for out of my bond. The owner did not even want this company to return for a re-clean.
Although the company advertises a 7-day guarantee, this is not helpful when the initial job is not completed to an acceptable standard and creates unnecessary stress and extra costs.
Overall, this experience caused significant stress, additional financial loss, and unnecessary headaches during an already demanding moving process. I have lodged a formal complaint seeking reimbursement.
Service: End of lease clean
Arrived late and demanded an extra $340 on top of the agreed quote, giving us 10 minutes to pay or they’d leave (charging a $300+ cancellation fee). With handover the next day and no time to rebook, we reluctantly paid.
That evening, our lovely Property Manager inspected the property on our behalf - finding multiple areas untouched, carpets left damp and smelling, and cleaning products/rubbish left behind. Two men returned claiming the original cleaner had left early due to a headache (no one had informed us). Our Property Manager reported one of the men spoke to her in a very aggressive and intimidating manner and insisted on keeping the keys overnight (which she of course declined). They said they’d return the next morning - no one did.
After multiple calls to chase them up, we were told to send a list of outstanding items and that they’d come back on the 30th (the clean was booked for the 28th, with handover already due). At this point we had no choice but to organise additional cleaning to meet the deadline.
A partial refund was requested (a very reasonable compromise, in my opinion). Bank details were provided. No refund was processed. The case is now with QCAT.
Booked them to clean our Gold Coast unit. Up front payment given. When they showed up they demanded an extra $500. When we refused they charged an excessive cancellation fee.
Approximate cost: $600
I booked BCE Expert Clean for a bond clean at my home on the Gold Coast and the experience was shocking from start to finish. After giving me a fixed quote—including carpet cleaning—and taking full payment in advance, they called during the job demanding an extra $200–$300. They said the work wouldn’t continue unless I paid immediately, and if I refused they’d treat it as a cancellation and only refund part of my money. This was the afternoon before settlement, leaving me with no choice. It felt like being held to ransom. The next day, during the buyers’ inspection, the toilets weren’t working because BCE had turned off the cistern water supply without permission. This caused confusion, delayed the process, and cost me hundreds of dollars. When I tried to resolve it, BCE denied everything, falsely claimed I had agreed to the fees, and refused responsibility. Their conduct felt coercive, misleading, and unprofessional. I strongly recommend avoiding BCE Expert Clean.
Approximate cost: $900
Do not use Bond Clean Experts. My experience with them was extremely unprofessional from start to finish.
They confirmed a Saturday arrival time but turned up 2 hours late, only letting me know at 2am that they’d arrive at 10:30am.
They were unable to complete the clean in one day and had to come back on Sunday. Even though they promised it would be finished by 12pm (keys were due back at 5pm), they were still cleaning when we arrived.
A re-clean was required during the week because they missed basic items that were clearly listed on their quote.
We found two broken window louvres in a room they had cleaned – damage caused by them, but never disclosed.
I sent them the real estate’s invoice for the repairs so they could deal with it directly. They ignored me, so I was forced to pay the $269 from my bond to cover the damage.
Despite multiple emails and calls, I have received no refund or proper communication. They won’t answer my calls unless I ring on a blocked number.
Overall, this company was unreliable, unprofessional, and dishonest. They caused me unnecessary stress at the end of my lease and cost me money for damages they refused to take responsibility for.
Avoid at all costs.
Approximate cost: $920
If I could give zero stars, I would. Bond Clean Expert delivered what can only be described as a cleaning-themed disaster.
I booked them three weeks in advance to prepare our home for sale, expecting a professional service. What I got was damage, distress, and a masterclass in how not to run a business.
Let’s start with their claim of “no hidden charges.” Hilarious. At the 11th hour — right before they were supposed to begin — they demanded an extra $300. Why? Because I hadn’t mentioned one panel of glass louvres, and the flyscreens were apparently too dirty for their delicate sensibilities. Imagine that — dirt, during a bond clean. Outrageous.
Then came the wreckage:
The garage door remote? Taken. Never returned.
The outdoor blinds remote? Smashed by their staff.
Bamboo floors? Soaked to the point that a fuse blew and water leaked into the garage. The neighbors knew we weren't home and came over to make sure a pipe hadn't burst.
Rubbish left behind, despite that being part of the quoted service.
When I raised these issues, their so-called customer service team were rude and dismissive. Their eventual solution? A re-clean. By these cowboys? Why on earth would I want them back — so they could break a few more things and maybe set the place on fire?
We paid $600 upfront — plus their surprise $300 ransom — and still ended up cleaning it ourselves for three hours the night before staging.
And here’s the kicker: they don’t even have a Google business page or a review section on their website. Funny that. Almost like they don’t want feedback from paying customers. Because if they did, this review would be tattooed across their homepage.
After all that? Silence. No apology. No refund. No accountability.
Avoid this company like black mold. Unprofessional, shady, and MIA when things go wrong.
Approximate cost: $919
Quoted $400 for the initial price, it comes to the day and they try and hit me with an additional $200, they didn't clean very well, floors and walls still dirty. Blinds left completely untouched, do not use this company
Approximate cost: $500
Seemed fine upon the initial cleaning.
Approximate cost: $425
Cleaners were late by 4 hours , didn’t do a good job even tho they had a to do list … we’re not qualified to do tick n flea treatments.. damaged the carpet in one of the room … they were ask to come back to complete the job, didn’t turn up on time again and try to come in while new tenants already moved in… they conduct business as if they were in India , don’t work here .. manage was very rude .. avoid at all cost

On the day of the scheduled clean, the company unexpectedly demanded additional payment to guarantee a "bond-level clean." They informed me that if I didn’t pay the extra amount, they wouldn’t return or guarantee the quality of their work. Regrettably, I paid the extra fee because I was relocating interstate and wouldn’t be able to return to inspect the property myself.
After the clean, I inspected the property and was extremely disappointed with the poor quality of their work. I contacted them to rectify the issues, and they claimed they would wait for the real estate agent's final report before addressing everything at once.
When the real estate agent conducted their inspection, they were equally dissatisfied and requested the cleaners return to fix the issues. Initially, the company said they couldn’t return for a few days but later changed their mind and attended the property. Despite their return, the clean was still incomplete, and the real estate agent remained unhappy with the results. Ultimately, I had to pay for a professional cleaner to finish the job properly.
I cannot recommend this company. The quality of their cleaning service was well below standard, their demand for additional money was unreasonable and felt like a scam, and their overall communication and professionalism throughout the process were extremely poor. They justified the extra cost by claiming they needed special chemicals to clean the property—this was entirely false, as the property had already been pre-cleaned before their arrival.
This experience added unnecessary stress during an already challenging interstate move. I strongly advise others to avoid this company.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, SCAMMERS!
This company will quote you one price and then threaten you to pay more on the day or they will leave as they don't do "half cleans" and when you say you can't afford it they say they will cancel however then you get not one cent back as your canceling on the day. They won't do their job and they will return and still not do their job and then ghost you and block your number
When I tried to get a refund for the thousand dollars they cost us they would say"Call the police they can not help you" "What are you going to do, nothing? complain to the ACCC? join the long list of people who already have" "you live in Australia, don't you? You are in a wealthy country and you can afford it" When I started to meltdown and explained I couldn't afford it and that this was fraud and extortion they laughed and said yes mam and I'm now extorting $420 of your money" I have tried continuously to get a refund however now have been blocked.
Approximate cost: $1000
Worst clean. Terrible company to deal with. They quote you a price you pay then they call you 20 minutes later to ask for more money or no clean. Left things filthy. Reported to the ACCC. Stay clear. Do NOT use. They also write their own positive reviews. Check other people's reviews. They all say the same thing. I just wished I had seen them before I booked them
Approximate cost: $1600
AVOID THIS COMPANY!! An absolute scam of a company that will charge you a fortune and leave you high and dry with no cleaning done. They do not offer “100% bond back guarantee” as advertised on their website. Not to mention their staff are beyond rude and incompetent. Absolute conmen and fraudsters.
Disgraceful company, terrible cleaners, extortionists
Avoid AT ALL COSTS!!
