I'm the fish and chips guru, always on the hunt for the best.
Worth the 25 minute wait? No, it was really busy but I didn't expect to be waiting this long, usually I wait 1-15 minutes elsewhere If I haven't phoned ahead.
The batter is crispy, the right amount on the flake. I did ask for lots of vinegar and they certainly went crazy on it so i was very happy.
Not the cheapest in the area, but will phone ahead next time as I will certainly go back
Blufish offers very yummy fish and chips right in the heart of the city! Its a on the expensive side however the portion sizes are just right, the batter is perfect and the chips are done to perfection! They also offer the other usual fish and chippery fare. There is seating inside, though its pretty limited (like virtually everywhere in Centre Place) - say about 6-8 people could eat inside.
Service is fast and friendly, however because its so popular you can sometimes be forced to wait for a little while before you are served, but this is a minor annoyance considering the quality of the product!
Great fresh fish option for lunch. It's always packed but the service is fast and friendly. Really outstanding quality seafood for the inner city. Only gripe is the mayo they use which is the super sweet variety bleurgh! But don't need it anyway when the fish is so good.

The fish sold at this shop is the freshest in town. I work around the corner and have this as a special treat every Friday lunch time. Good idea to ring in advance if you have a short lunch at take it back to the office. Try the flake if you do nothing else. They do sell packs with salads and drinks, at ok prices compared to what other lunch places charge in the area.

This place has great clean healthy food. If your after something that might seem a little naughty but you still want to be healthy give this place ago .. they can add an awesome salad to anything you order.
