This has become our favorite pub to take visitors and locals to. The staff are always friendly and the food is great, the outside beer garden even has an area for kids to play in. The locals are friendly and the setting makes the most of the divine mallee weather. The chips are awesome too and really enjoyable. (I love my chips and I hate soggy and insipid ones). The Birchip Hotel is great country value. A true landmark in Birchip one you really should visit.

went here for a few drink and only ended up having none as the lady at the bar could not understand english had too repeat myself several times and in the end just end up saying doesnt matter bye ill go to the other pub down the road so wont go back here again and my mum ate there and got very sick from the food and the owner is so rude towards people it just really turns you of ever entering this place for a drink or even to see a mate in the pub very disappointing place to go
New owners from Melbourne took over this pub and have made it fantastic. Classy and sophisticated they have brought Melbourne with them. Renovated they now have a delicious menu,the honey glazed chicken is so good. They now also have live entertainment which brings some nightlife to Birchip and plenty of the locals go down there to enjoy a drink. Great atmoshpere with friendly country people
