I booked this place as part of a special package that included a show at the Opera House. When I made a booking at Bilson's I asked for a courtesy reminder call closer to the date. I never got it. When we got there, they told us that my booking was for their wine bar down the road & that they had tried to contact me to tell me. LIARS!!!
These people need to learn about customer service from McDonalds
Great food but poor value. I had very small servings for the price I paid and I thought that overall, it wasn't that impressive.
Fantastic experience here at a 3 hat restaurant.
Service was absolutely superb. One of the waiters even held my hand to walk down the stairs in my high heels! They were professional yet still very much approachable.
Food was delicious, of course. 10-course degustation meal with a glass of wine to share - perfect.

OK so I've had degustation meals before (small portions multiple courses of 8-12), but these portions were minuscule! my friend even had a kebab afterwards! we even used our entertainment cards and still didn't think it was value for money! however having said that the service was impeccable.....and the food OK....just not amazing.....
My most pleasurable overall dining experience in Sydney. Go on a weeknight for that extra bit of attention. Service was excellent and attentive. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable without being overbearing. Food was amazing and being known for degustation, its a la carte menu was perfect for sharing. Of the mains, the hiramasa kingfish with romesco sauce and textures of onion was the most notable, for the textures of onion, who could have imagined that onion could be done in so many ways and each texture brought out a different flavour.
bilsons is a wonderful restaurant with a very tempting menu filled with incredible tastes. it is a set meal menu of which there are several types at different costs . i chose the $120 and i think that was enough for me. i ate sucking pig and wow what a main.. nothing beats the food here
