Great store, friendly service although sometimes customer service can be scarce. When you are served it is promptly & with a smile, lovely greeting & general small talk. The lay by section is very prompt & great with any query you might have. They will willingly order anything in for you if they have it available on their system & always in a timely matter. The store is kept in a generally tidy & clean order with shelves well stocked.
looks great now with all the renovations finished. its a completely new shop. Huge, and great rpices, friendly staff.
I have to say that I"m surprised by the amount of good reviews for this particular store as my experiences particularly with the staff have been below average. I was spoken to very rudely on one occasion by one of the ladies in the audio section who advised me that she was too busy to assist me further when I had requested a number of iPods from the display case and she had only given me one. I have heard from a number of friends that they have had difficulties with the staff there also.
Having said that the checkout staff are generally friendly despite there often being long waits for service in the queues.
I agree with another reviewer that there are also often many gaps in shelves where things are missing, which can be frustrating if you have travelled to shop there.
i think big w stores as a whole are very good and very good prices,but i do find wonthaggi store to be not as good as other big w stores.
quite often the shelves are not filled or have enough of items on sale.
they also don,t seem to have the same range as some other stores
GOOD FIND IT HAS GREAT DEALS AND FIND THE KIDS CLOTHING TO BE LONG LASTING, STYLISH AND COMFORTABLE. THERE IS ALWAYS PLENTY OF VARIETY
there is always some one there to help you out and it is cheaper for a country town.layby is great there.there is a toilet there for there for the kids
This is where I go first as its usually cheaper than anywhere else in this country town. As much as I like to support small business I can't go past saving money and getting a lot of things I need in one place. Every year we go to their big toy sale to layby for xmas and am never disppointed with the stock on hand.
this is an excellent store with wide varieties of products at much affordabel prices. this is much cheaper than some stores. You can find whatever you want
This BigW is an excellent store with good quality groceries and it is very cost effective and the staff are friendly and the service is excellent. Good value for money, cheaper than other big stores
every time i go to bigw i always buy something even if i just went to look. it has the best value and the items are of good quality. the service is great, evry staff member is very helpful. i will continue to shop here
when i went on my holiday to wonthaggi i had a really nice time especially made even better when i found out that one of my favourite shopping destinations was situated relatively nearby to where i was located. this was especially comforting as i was desperate for some clothes as i lost my suitcase. as always, big double U gave us amazing shopping oppurtunities and great value for money!
i love their pay yourself service. it helps to reduce the traffic of waiting to pay. their prices are alright compared to target. is a reasonable value goods.
Large shop that caters for members of the family and has plenty of room for walking around with clean floors and wide aisles. Plenty of car parking and room and also has a coffee shop out the front for afterwards
