great big shop with loads of specials and bargains-i always go n there to get one thing and walk out of there with numerous items.
not happy with the photography section,i felt like i was being a pain by asking questions about their big canvases you can get to get a picture of your choice on them.
Big w need better staff in there photo department. Very unhelpful girl working there and was rude and could not help me with the photo machines. I had to go else where.
My husband announced on Monday that we are boycotting Big W at Macarthur Square due to yet another awful customer service experience.
Once again, we went in to purchase a catalogue item and as always, there is no way of the staff knowing whether that item will ever come in during the two week catalogue period, they cannot raincheck the item at the advertised price and they cannot tell you when to expect stock.
One woman in the customer service area (fitting room, not service desk) told us she would call Narellan, the other local store, to check on stock (but didn't use the phone in front of us. We took her word for it that she made the call). Having told us Narellan didn't have stock either, we were sent on our way.
We asked another staff member we found working in the relevant department and she said there certainly were ways to check if stock is coming or can be ordered or to bump-up a request for stock by making such a query. It wasn't guaranteed it would arrive during the catalogue period but at her discretion, they could offer the advertised price when the item came in stock. Great! So we were promised a call the following day when she would find out the status of the item.
That was 13 days ago and still no call. Meanwhile, we tracked down the item in Menai (NOWHERE near where we live!) and made a trip out there to purchase it, only to later discover the item had been sitting in Narellan's Big W store all along (which is closer to where we live than Macarthur!).
What a wild goose chase, and not completely uncommon when it comes to the service skills of the staff at Big W in Macarthur Square!
I love shopping at BIG W, Staff are always willing to help and assist you. Great Value for money, Parking is a bit tricky Saturday but other than great place to shop
I would love to visit and shop at any big w store. Campbell town big w is so friendly. Love the kids clothing and ladies clothing. They have things that fit me aswell.
Always great value for money for a large family, and they have very helpful service. I love the self serve aisles too, makes things quicker
The self-serve check-outs make the shopping experience easy, fast and worthwhile. The products offer customers are inexpensive and of a good quality

It was a trusted store where I know that I can get value for money. There are sometimes long lines which is annoying.

Big W is a great place to get great bargains and has all your needs and wants, It's a store where everyone can shop and enjoy. The garden center is great and the Corella bird there is a lovely addition to the garden section. I love Big W!
Big W is one of those stores where you can spend a day in just looking at all the stuff they have. I love buying washing powder and toilet paper there cause they have it in bulk. Great value
Great range of items, prices are alright. area is cleaner than most retails. the service is very good. if you want faster service you can go to self serve
It took quite a while to get service at one of the service points. It was a very busy pre- back to school day. Although I pressed the service button three times, no one came. When I found an employee myself, he was very helpful.

Has very competive prices. The prices for shoes and dvds are very good. Specials are always well worth checking out. Ive picked up specials that are a steal. You can also use the self serve check out. The staff are helpful and friendly.
big w has some great products and reasonable prices some could improve but otherwise good service is alright and normal you can find someone to help you otherwise a good store
Prices are competitive and they have a great range of stock. Staff can be hard to find if you need help. The girls in the change rooms are usually busy chatting to each other. I find this a great place to shop for xmas gifts.
Love the variety and ease of finding things. The prices are always good and there are some great specials. Love they go to size 26 for women and 7xl for men as hubby and I are both big people. One of my fave places to shop.
Prices are competitive. Stock readily available. Store has been refurbished and is clean and spacious. Department staff are difficult to locate even with the new staff locator buttons. Staff are somewhat helpful but more often than not are more interested in talking to each other than doing their job. Christmas and holiday shopping is very busy and checkout staff are not taught to cope with these situations.
