I have been here a few times and it is always quite busy. Most recently we went in on a Saturday afternoon, the service at the bar was quite good however there were several tables that were left with empty glasses on them. On the upside it is a good location and has a good atmosphere. Will be going back again.

So I am reviewing Sub-Urban, the bar part of Belluci's at the southern end of the Dickson eat precinct... We headed here after lunching it at O'Neill's up the street and talk about difference in class. Sure, Sub-Urban is a little pretentious, but the place was humming on a Friday afternoon. Beers available were very good - amongst us I think that each one was sampled and a great arvo was had by all. We didn't get any of the food, but yeah, it is a great place. Would consider taking the family to Belluci's - it looked nice from the other side of the Bar....

Had lunch here whilst visiting canberra. I had the peri peri chicken burger and it was devine!! Very filling too, considering it wasnt a main meal as such. Reasonable price too. Good atmosphere, clean bathrooms. My only rant would be the fake fireplace. A real one would definitely ice the cake!

Five of us tried to have a meal at Sub Urban in celebration of a birthday recently, but the bar part of the venue was so darned loud, we seriously could not think, much less carry on a conversation over dinner. Needless to say, we left before ordering a meal. Doubt we will go back. Pity, as Belluci's put out some great food! I can understand capitalising on the part of the business that's bringing in the cream on the cake, but if this place wants to continue to offer a restaurant, the owner/s should really investigate some sound proofing of the dining area.
