Forget the traditional eggs breakfast/brunch when you go to barry. They don't have much of that on offer. But you will not find yourself too upset about it, because they have replaced it with much much more interesting options to choose from.
Think - Corn fritters with avocado, poached egg, raw beetroot relish & house cured salmon​; Pumpkin, Ricotta, rocket, pine nut and sage omlette on toast,

I have been to Barry a few times. Its is the perfect spot to bring visitors for brunch and it never fails to impress. The building itself is gorgeous , very industrial new york loft. Menu is spot on - seasonal , fresh and full of healthy options. The super salads at lunch are jam packed full of goodness. You feel nourished looking at them .
Brekkie specials are always changing and feature something interesting.
Try the blended drinks - Green or banana but with a twist.
Coffee is legendary also . This review is pretty positive , but I can't really fault Barry. Check it out .

I came here for a quick breakfast and it was perfect. Another quintessential Melbourne cafe, with a great variety menu. Their Blended Drink #1 is just like a traditional banana smoothie with a few yummy twists (crunchy peanut butter and cocoa nibs). The crushed ice makes it perfect and refreshing on a hot day. Their sago and fruit was also great, with a vanilla kick in the sago and the freshness of the fruit making it a bit less naughty! My friend had the fruit salad and granola, which she said was yum and fresh, and the granola had a great cinnamon flavour. Barry is now added to my long list of "go back" breakfast spots!
