Love this place. Such a chilled vibe, comfy couches, extensive menu and cocktails are to die for, especially the Apple Pie cocktail! It's very $$$ but worth it. Staff are friendly and so knowledgable!
It is located in the dodgy looking alley by the railway tracks and you never know what's behind the door! Surprise! It is cosy little bar! Unfortunately not many seating places and we were standing by the bar and enjoying their huge cocktail list! Bar lady was very experienced in cocktail making! awesome to watch!
One of my favorite places for a quiet drink. Bar None has been a favorite between my friends and I for many years. Its is a little shabby chic (how its meant to look) but the cocktail and wine menu speaks in volumes. Be sure to get there early as it does get very busy.
Approximate cost: $20
Have been to Bar None a few times over the last few years and have generally enjoyed my experience there. The cocktails are always pricey but that was always expected. Recently, I visited and ordered a $13 Wheat beer, which, as a student the cost was acceptable. I was told that this particular beer was out of stock and the waitress suggested I get another beer and recommended one to me. I was very satisfied with the beer, that is until I went to pay. I realised that without being informed, I now had to pay $25 which was almost exactly double the price of the beer I had ordered in the first place. I am utterly outraged at this as I do NOT have this kind of money to throw around on beer.
Approximate cost: $25
A secret little gem in Camberwell of all places. A brilliant bible of drinks, these guys know what they are talking about! Had the bar staff come and sit with us to explain drinks and ask how we were enjoying the place. A little higher on the price side, but made up for it in the service. If there were to be any qualms, if only small, it would be the cheapish decor, could invest in some comfier lounges and nicer curtains. Thanks for a lovely drop! Return customer here!
A like to call Bar None a hidden treasure. You would never know it's there unless you had been told about it. They have amazing cocktails, but on weeeknds you need to get there early or you won't get a couch!
Approximate cost: $10-20
Hidden gem!
it has a cosy atmosphere, large menu, best cocktails in melbourne! The staff are super friendly and know they're stuff. They are awesome at reccomending drinks.
Best to book on weekends in order to get a table or couch.
Camberwell doesn't have that much of a nightlife, but Bar None is one nice friendly place to go for a drink. The list is quite long, and the cocktails are delicious, but I leave it to one per night, because as with all cocktails, expect to pay a lot! But it's a great atmosphere for a simple night out with friends.
A jem hidden in an off main street laneway. It's like a twilight zone. The Drink Bible is quite impressive and service is at it's highest. The staff is very friendly and knowledgable!
This is the perfect place to go one on one with a lover or date and sink in to the comfy couches, moody dim lit lighting and spend hours laughing and gazing into each others eyes whilst sipping exquisite cocktails. Great place to take someone. Not so great to meet someone.
I love this place
Bar None is almost impossible to find, but well worth seeking out. The quirky layout, laid back atmosphere, extensive cocktail and wine menu and friendly service are definately worth a visit.
I visited Bar None on a Womow recommendation and was impressed! The drinks list is extensive - cocktails, beers, wines - you name it, they had it. It's great to see that Camberwell has a cool "city type" bar that you can visit. The layout was comfortable, with couches scattered around the place - a laid back place to have a drink and a chat.
I am a regular visitor to Bar None, drawn back time and again by the relaxed, refined atmosphere, the great service and, most importantly, by the superb drinks menu that Bar None offers. This is definitely one of the best cocktail bars in Melbourne, with highly skilled bar staff concocting classic and innovative cocktails. Michael Cotter and his team show a genuine passion for the drinks they serve and are very knowledgeable - I have learnt a lot talking to them! A visit to Bar None is an educational experience!
As well as cocktails, Bar None also has an excellent wine list, a great range of Australian and imported boutique beers, exotic and hard-to-find rums, tequilas and more. You can also order from your seat and drinks are brought to you - a nice change from the hectic scenes you see in many Melbourne bars! The music is great, and I really like the relaxed and classy atmosphere of the half-underground bar. It's really well suited for a nice date or to catch up with friends - but don't expect to party or get rowdy. It's not that type of place.
Be sure to try the famous Sazerac. It'll knock your socks off!
Approximate cost: $12-16 for a cocktail
