Bamboo

It just wasn't our day for quality time together anywhere we decided to eat. Thought Bamboo would be good, plenty of seating, peace and quiet, but this time we were let down by the food, it looked piping hot at the counter but when we started eating, it was cool in the middle, didn't taste fresh, very disappointing. We barely touched it as we were afraid of being sick, so we moved on to try something else. It turned out to be an expensive day out.

Decided to pick up some takeaway for dinner after doing a lot of birthday and father's day shopping. I thought the beef satay skewers looked good at $2.50ea, the crispy beef, sweet and sour pork and honey chicken was also purchased. We found the satay skewers were tough - chewy meat and the satay sauce was an odd colour and also quite runny, it didn't stay on the skewers, couldn't dip them in it, it was like water. The satay sauce I am use to is usually quite thick and delicious, unfortunately this was not so here. As the the crispy beef, well the meat wasn't great and the serving was small, it was mainly noodles. The pork was ok, we really only enjoyed the honey chicken. Overall, a disappointing experience.
