Aurum Group was established in Brisbane, Queensland, with over 40 years of construction experience behind our leadership team.

All Aurum Group projects are delivered under Australian standard building contracts, which include statutory defects liability periods. We stand behind our workmanship and remain engaged with clients post-handover to resolve any issues promptly.

Our director Michael Choi OAM, RPEQ, MAIPM brings over 40 years of construction experience. Our senior management team has 100+ years of combined experience across residential, commercial, industrial, and warehouse construction. We have delivered over $250M in projects across Queensland.

QMBA Award winners 2025, HIA Award 2025, Order of Australia Medal 2025 (director Michael Choi OAM). Multiple QMBA awards 19931996. Our director holds RPEQ (Registered Professional Engineer Queensland), MAIPM, MAICD, and JP credentials.

We offer fixed-price contracts, design-and-construct contracts, and Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) arrangements. Pricing is project-specific, contact us for a free consultation and detailed quote.

Construction pricing varies based on project size, complexity, and specification. Warehouse construction typically ranges from $800$2,000+ per square metre. Residential and commercial projects are quoted individually. Contact us for a free consultation.

Yes - Master Builders Queensland (QMBA) and Housing Industry Association (HIA). Director Michael Choi holds membership with MAIPM (Australian Institute of Project Management) and MAICD (Australian Institute of Company Directors).

What is your favourite thing about your job?

Delivering large-scale projects that become landmarks in the community - from prestige homes to major industrial facilities like the $25.61M Area 51 Bundamba warehouse. Seeing a project go from concept to completion is what drives our team.

What are your payment terms and conditions? Do you offer payment plans? Afterpay? Interest-free terms?

Payment terms are established within each project contract in accordance with the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) requirements and the Building Industry Fairness Act. No Afterpay or consumer payment plans - this is commercial construction.

Our director is a registered professional engineer (RPEQ) - rare for a building company. We combine international materials procurement, multi-generational expertise, and ECI capability. Our $250M+ project portfolio and award-winning track record set us apart in the Brisbane market.

What insurance do you hold, and what value are you covered for?

Aurum Group holds all required insurance in accordance with QBCC licensing requirements, including public liability and contract works insurance. Specific coverage details are provided during the tender and contract process.

How quickly can work be completed? What are your turnaround times? Do you offer same-day service?

Timelines depend on project scope. A standard warehouse typically takes 612 months from design approval to handover. We use Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) to reduce delays and keep projects on programme.

Do you have a favourite client story you'd like to share?

Our Area 51 Bundamba project, a $25.61M, 22,045m² industrial warehouse facility completed December 2025 - is one of the largest warehouse builds delivered in South East Queensland. It's a strong example of what Aurum Group can deliver at scale, on time and to specification.
