Arkaba Hotel

After a late appointment my husband and I stopped at this hotel for a meal while on the way home. Salt and pepper calamari was one choice and chicken marsala the other. Nice atmosphere and very nice food. Admittedly we were hungry.

Came and enjoyed a lunch for two last week. The Arkaba used to be a nearly local hotel years ago and we like to return for "old times sake". Enjoyed my schnitzel and my wife was happy with her curry. Always enjoy it here

Came here for my partners work function tonight.
We went to the Sporty bar, rather than the dining room.
We both ordered the Beef Schnitzel, with chips and coleslaw.
Full Schnitzel was $21 and a half was $17.
Tasted fine, with the exception of the schnitty being a bit soggy, due to the gravy. Would have been better to provide the gravy in it's own pot, to be added by the customer.
Other than that, the service was pretty quick and friendly and the hotel itself is well laid out and comfortable.
Would be happy to return.

The Arkaba has a very nice dining area and offer some delicious reasonably priced meals. My husband and I enjoyed our large fresh oysters kilpatrick followed by some kangaroo fillet and grilled salmon, so delicious. Will be trying one of those pizzas next time as looking around we could see many people enjoying them. The staff were great, never left waiting, very friendly.

Another lunch day with friends and this time at the Arkaba Hotel. We had the senior' menu and my choice was the roast and vegetables. It was a good meal in a very nice bistro area. The main menu has a good range of dishes but they are more of a restaurant price than a pub price. The senior's menu ranged from $12 to $16 which is a good price for lunch.

A nice hotel that can cater for large numbers of people but can still feel quiet and almost secluded in some areas. They pan fry their schnitzels and they are lightly coated in breadcrumbs so they're not deep-fried like with most pubs. Very nice.

Going to the Arkaba Hotel has been part of my life for over 50 years (getting older and older). Remember it from when I celebrated my 21st there with a dinner dance. Have dined there on and off for many years and it has always been great as it has moved with the times. Now have lunch with friends regularly here and always enjoy the food and service. Also brings back lots of memories from my youth and moving on to having tea with my husband and children as they were growing up.

This is one of my favourite places in adelaide have been going to this place for many years since i was in 20s. Im in 40s now and still enjoy the lounged bar area the live music, the big screens for the beer garden lovely on a summer day, the food is gr8 the beers cold and lovely variety. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. This place is gr8 on friday or saturday night down stairs live band or upstairs 80s music

We had a great function here on a Saturday night. We were able to pre-order our meals, so we could enjoy pre-dinner drinks and have our meals come out at a certain time. We were reserved an area in the Sports Bar later so we could enjoy the band playing that evening. It was a great night.

A great place to go for a drink. They have a really good upstairs room and a great outside area downstairs. We have eaten there and weren't overly impressed with the food but that may just be a one off. The accomodation is good. Clean rooms and comfortable and very reasonably priced

Great sports bar, if you love your sports this is the place to go, just love the layout, if you want a nice meal you can get that too, nothing to fault with this venue and will be back!

Hey not the fanciest accomodation in Adelaide but absolutely perfect for us for the Clipsal. Clean, close to the track and everything inside the hotel that was needede. Happy with service and price

E cel lent place for a good night out. Good food lots of drinks to choose from. The bottle shop has the best sele tion around. Always a good show on over the weekends.

A good hotel to meet and have lunch or dinner. Varied menu with specials available. Also many seating areas to wait for friends to arrive. In winter there is a modern fire working. Also parking available in car park. All in all , it feels welcoming in all respects.

Have been here several times, with my wife, and also with a large group of about 20. The food is good, service friendly, and has a really nice atmosphere. Comfortable seating, in various areas from nice open areas to more intimate spots for 2.
All nicely carpeted, with pictures ot SA on the walls, this is a nice pub to sit and have a chat and a drink , or a relaxed meal. Service has always been suitably prompt, whether only 2 or 20.

This is a great spot to meet friends for lunch. Good menu and comfortable bistro seating. Nice fire and lounges in foyer and plenty of space to sit and wait for friends. A relaxed environment for catching up with the news.

A number of different areas in this hotel. Had a work meeting here recently - conference facilities were fine. Sports bar was very relaxing. Staff were friendly throughout.

Nice place to eat, bistro style meals with a good variety on the menu.
On a Friday and Saturday night they have live music in the bar area which is often quite full. This isn't a Saturday night out for the 18-25 year olds, a bit of an older crowd.

The Arkaba is a very functional place. It has bar dining, restaurant dining, two entertainment areas, function rooms and rooms to stay in. They get in some great bands and are really worth keeping an eye out on the lineup. Food is nice too, standard but nice. Last time I was there organising a big group staff were really great.

We generally meet up with friends for a drink and order some appetizers to nibble. It's really nice, there are couches grouped together to make it more private and the food has always been nice. The sports bar is also very good, with tvs everywhere.

i thought the quality of service was quite good. Also have a large selection of tap beers which i enjoyed. The sports bar is fantastic with many screens for weekend sports.

This venue is looking very tired and dirty. We went here for a function and the experience was so so. The food was ok and the service was ok but nothing special. It's not a venue i would bother going to if it wasn't a prearranged function.
