I cant help but say that I did not like the fact that the meat on the menu was only the 'cut of the day' and it then cost $9 or so to add a side to it.
The service was good and the location is on the main road.
dined here twice and enjoyed the food both times. has a very extensive menu and always has daily specials. i had the risotto marinara and it was quite yummy. everybody else enjoyed their meals and it's quite nice sitting outside the front as lots to look at! prices are reasonable and almost the same as bar italia with better service!

We dined here recently, large restaurant, very roomy, clean toilets. Very well presented, very stylish and modern inside.
We felt that there wasn't much to choose from the menu.
Not much selection for the kids.
Pizzas are quite small and not easy to cut up. Kids were having trouble eating the portions. ( the pizza portions were cut too big for the kids) pizzas were hot and fresh though for us adults the pizzas are too small.
Prices are reasonable to which we had gelato which the kids loved.
Service was great and always ready to help.
Kids were looking for colouring in though not something they had.
Would be better if more variety on the menu.

I've never seen such a collection of colours and flavours in cocktails. They're really creative and sweet combinations. You can never have just one! The down side is, the complimentary snack advertised before peak hour doesn't really come for free, but the place is fun with lovely architecture and friendly staff.
I know this is promoted as an Italian Tapas specialist but the pizza is really where the value is - filling, substantial and reasonably priced. If you try to fill up on the tapas you will leave hungry and need to check into aporto on the way home...
Delicious food however expensive. We ordered ravioli and paid $25, although there were only 6 pieces! However the dessert was mouthwatering- I had a nutella tart. Delicious.
Wow! What a great little find! This place does Italian-style tapas, as well as FABULOUS pizzas and amazing signature dishes. The service is first class - the pizza chef even came to visit our table to check that all was good with his delicious creations - with an authentic Italian accent to boot!! You simply can not go past this place for a REAL taste of Italy. Leichhardt desperately needed a place like this-in lieu of all the 'cheap and nasty' cliche trattorias! Well done Aperitivo.

Really nice and romantic place for a quiet dinner. I was really impressed with the range of imported wines from Italy and Spain. Has the usual pastas and pizzas which do not disappoint. Great for taking out a loved one.

A very romantic place to go to with that special someone; quite extensive of wine list and main meals...wine was beautiful however service was rather slow but friendly. This is possibly because they have only just opened up. Margarita and the chicken breast was quite nice.
