Visited Andamooka while staying in Coober Pedy and found the museum very interesting. Good display of various opal varieties with some explanation, photos of the town through its development. Across the road houses that the early miners lived in are open to the public and the stories of the origianal inhabitants makes interesting reading. The community works hard at providing information about the town and only asks for a donation for the museum. Worth visiting the area
