prices are very cheap and reasonable,suppose to be a trustworthy site but a friend of mine had problems with a delivery from this site and it never was really sorted out,i just get weary when hearing stories like this.
Amazon.com is the best, most professional and trustworthy shopping site on all of the internet. They sell nearly everything you could think of at really affordable prices. Buying direct from Amazon will never go wrong, standard shipping is 9 to 12 days and also gives reliable tracking. Buying such items such as DVDs and Blu Rays DVDs, the items come quickly in well protected packages. The majority of the sellers on Amazon are reliable, just check their overall rating. Amazon is excellent at selling a wide range of items to Australians world wide. Buying direct from them is something that can never go wrong although the majority of other sellers do not ship to Australia. Overall, this site is generally just great.
The price is cheaper. Lots of different options. They even give you an option of used or new and with different supplier with different prices. They even have a save for later button for item/s you want but you can't afford yet.

I have bought many books from here over the years! They are always well priced and are delived in tact and within the time frame they state! Sometimes even before you expect it. They always make sure someone if home when they deliver so it isn't left outside!
Can find pretty much anything here. They sell for very cheap with a huge range of products. However quite a few products don't ship to Australia and it's very frustrating. Very similar to eBay but to me it seems a bit more trustworthy.
I find Amazon really frustrating, I have shopped on Amazon many times only to find that what I want and order cannot get shipped to my address here in Sydney, so then I have to cancel my order, I have only really shopped twice.
I bought a speedo costume and 2 books with no problem.
The delivery time is quite lengthy and prices are quite reasonable when their on sale.
I often get their emails with many temptations but only get annoyed when I cannot order what I want.
I have bought a few things from Amazon but it is not the best way to shop online for Australian residents. Only selected items will be available for delivery in Australia and even then the postage is high.
Amazon needs to have a better way for Australian customers to see what items are available for delivery in Australia, the international shipping category is very slim and hard to use.
Maybe Amazon should create an Australian site.
I prefer eBay anyday!!

Amazon.com is a fantastic way to go shopping for books. Even hard to find ones. The selection is wide and varied and they support Kindle Ereaders too. I had fun with the search engine to see which books I could find - by title , by author and by genre. The other things I've bought are CD's that are unavailable in Australia. Perfect!
Payment methods are safe and easy to use.
Sometimes, though, there is a delay because of overseas postage.. but that is to be expected.

I have found Amazon to be very helpful and you can get books for presents sent directly to the person ,saving you extra postage.
Great products great prices and very quick delivery always on time. I buy from this site easily 5 times a month. So great service as always. They have anything and everything you are looking for they also sell used items and the used items I've currently purchased are great look and work like new.

Hi, yes you have to look for sellers in Australia for great shipping deals but also there are a few good sites with free delivery. All the very best.
Amazon is a good place to buy items online, safe and affordable, fast shipping, although not every item ships to Australia you can still get some good items on there!
Exactly, very frustrating when a great deal doesn't ship to Australia
items i ordered for Christmas last year were running worrying late. I contacted them and they resent the items on a priority shipping service straight away. Solved my problem straight away. i had everything in time for Christmas. cannot fault their service. very helpful staff, greatly appreciated their efforts.
Amazon has a deal with dhl, great shipping rate.
i purchase a lot of books from amazon because my eyesight isnt what it used to be & amazon have a good range of audio books & large print books. i also purchase true crime books & biographies for my daughter from them....they have a large range of books for everyone from kids to adult
Iike often buy books off this site as I have found they have some books in stock that I can't find elsewhere. Website really easy to use and really easy to order from then. Delivery doesn't take too long and I am very happy with this site. Recommend for more rare books.

I like Amazon, it has a fantastic range of products for great prices. I wish the postage was cheaper. My biggest frustration is that if you want to sell an item on there you can only sell a product that is already listed.

I get all my kindle books from here. There is an amazing selection of free books that are a great read. You can narow your search by genre and price.
I wish I could give it a 6/5 for value. Everything is so cheap, and you can find things you would NEVER locate in stores. Its a godsend for uni students, thats for sure. One of the best money-saving, efficient sites. Hands down.

Great place to shop online. Impressive range of items with very good prices. Relatively fast postage. Shopped there a few times and always had a very pleasant experience. Unfortunately not all the items can be shipped to Australia and even if they can the postage price can be a bit excessive.
I LOVE AMAZON, they have an amazing range, easy to use site, reasonably quick delivery and they have a wish list thing which you can save and I think that's great. top site, love it.
Can find good books at cheap prices but the site is bland and uninteresting. It is sometimes worth shopping at amazon because of the small saving but there is still interest in perusing a bookstore for me for the personal service and atmosphere.

Amazing value and service, amazon is a great site to shop on and always has excellent prices. I have had problems finding company's that will ship to Australia for reasonable prices but in the future hopefully they implement an easier system to calculate postage.
I bought my sewing machine from the US on Amazon and saved myself $600 in the process! They communicate with you from order to delivery and you can track your order as it is being processed.
amazon.com is a great website the prices are great the shipping is expensive butthe low prices make up for it
Amazon is great for buying things like books that have gone out of print, prices are really cheap, postage a bit on the expensive side. a bit slow on arrival times but still gets here.
sadly amazon is one of the reasons retail business in australia is suffering. they have a huge range, great prices, reliable deilvery and cheap shipping. great to deal with.
