Allied Relocations as a company promises a lot and delivers a subpar service. There sales techniques and delivery are awful as services
My experience
1) Provided a sales process that promised far more then you delivered
2) Allied did not provide appropriate oversight on the start of packing in Abu Dhabi as items were packed with out any planning and wrongly labeled etc with items missing AND SOME NOT EVEN PACKED
3) Destination Sydney not providing appropriate number of staff for unloading and helping us u pack when we are go through a major transition. Worst was that your UAE team starting from your sales person did not even know that only two people were provided to unload a lot of stuff. We were not told, and your support team did not even understand that was the contract between UAE and Australia
4) Items were missing and we had to throw a lot of items away like fans as they were dismantled and put in seperate boxes with no proper records
5) No duty of care and follow up to understand customer experience which most global companies want to understand how to improve their service, Allied does not want to
6) No follow up on my complaint as was promised that senior management will call me and it’s over 5 months

WHAT A RIPOFF!
I regularly move around the country for work.
This time, I moved from Darwin to Sydney.
Ended up with 2 MASSIVE gouges across the front of my 9 month old fridge.
Paid the $300 insurance, and now the insurance company they use has came back with their "offer" of $478 to fix the fridge... AFTER I pay the $100 excess.
So basically I'm paying $400 to get $378 back...
Or just have to put up with having a trashed fridge.
DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!!!!

Booked a small job to move about 2 m3 of my 90 year old mum's furniture to a new home.
FAIL - I asked a number of times for a estimated delivery date - even suggesting what date I expected. NO - we can't do that!
FAIL - Manager of the consultant I had been dealing with - "We have all the communications we had with you here, and no where does it say what you claim" WRONG - my emails are clear proof of my expectations and that you didn't disclose that it could be up to 14 days... She ended up making out that it was MY fault!!
FAIL - My Brother is taking delivery of the items at the new premises - here is his number please call him prior to delivery - NO called me.
FAIL - Delivery will be at 11.30am. WRONG - 2 hours later the guys turn up and say - no it was never meant to be 11.30am.
The only good thing is that the pickup guys and delivery guys were fantastic (sub-contractors!)
OVERALL - Never use them - they admit to not disclosing delivery timeframes unless you specifically ask - though even then, they didn't do that for me!

I have used Allied Pickfords on several occasions for house removals interstate. I found them to be highly professional, well organized, efficient, and delivered my goods on time and without damaging anything. Not the cheapest removalists around but certainly one of the best.
The guys at Allied Pickfords did a wonderful job moving us. Everything was packed snuggly and not one thing was damaged or scratched and we had a lot of stuff! Nothing is too much for the team and they organized our move very quickly. From the office staff to the boys that lugged everything in and out of the house it was all done without any hassle.
