I have had AAPT Bundled broadband unlimited for 12 months and have found the package very good value. Free landline rental, local and interstate call free is a real bonus as our family live interstate and we don't have to worry about spending time on the phone with them to keep in touch. We use a lot of internet downloading and have usually found the service quite good. The unlimited only is between 8pm and 8am and 10GB available the rest of the time. With a bit of juggling and pre-programming we can adjust our needs to that. Payaing for mobile and 1300 numbers can cause a problem as most companies use 1300 numbers but we can generally locate a local number to save on cost. Overall the package does what it says.

cheap landline and broadband bundle. Plenty of plans to suit everyones needs. If you compare aapt's plans and offers with optus and telstra you will notice that appt gives a better deal. with its unlimited off peak hours you can downlaod as much as you like. Only downside is its bundle comes with $50 worth of calls, but because it offers such good and cheap rates we hradly use $50 worth of calls.

They provide us with an internet and phone service. we had a problem with our phone line not being operational while our internet service was still working. We checked all our phone wall sockets and even checked the wiring connections and tried other phones but to no avail. then we enquired with AApt and were grilled with a range of questions which was reasonalbe in the first instance. however, when they could not determine the fault they offered to come out to have a look but would charge for the call out if not fault was found. they did come out but the service had returned prior to thier arrival. we phoned AApt again when we encounted the same issue a few days later only to go thorugh the same questions etc and they could not reference our previous responses. We finally found a friend who was a qualified telephone technician who diagnosed th fault - the local exchange!

I currently have my home phone with AAPT. If they didn't do good deals I would go elsewhere. However as a company they are horrible to deal with. The call staff have absolutley no idea what they are talking about, I am yet to have one that can help with a problem.

We have a phone and internet deal with AAPT which we have had for the past 3 years. The product is good, however the service is not very good at all. We have had to wait a really long time to speak to a customer service representative each time we have called. The have change our billing arrangements a number of times without telling us and then tell us to pay the extra amount and then it will be credited next month when they fix it up. Lucky their deal is so good or we would go somewhere else

Wonderful company. Way better than Telstra to deal with on a personal and business level. Great customer service and have had no problems at all. I have recommended these guys to other people. Have all phones and internet services with them.

I use to love AAPT, but in the last 12 to 18 months they have lost it entirely. They became hard to deal with and literally drove me to another service provider.

I have to say AAPT were recently horrendous to deal with.

I closed my telephone and DSL account with them as I was moving, yet they continued to charge me even after I had cancelled my services with them!!

When I found the extra charges on my statement, I called AAPT again to request they stop charging my account and to inform them that I had already cancelled my services. They did indeed see that I had cancelled my services, but their billing system continued to keep charging me anyway. They informed me that even though they were going to try to cancel my services again, they could not guarantee that their system wouldn't continue to charge me forever!

I went to the Telecommunications Ombudsman who referred me to the complaints department at AAPT, who promised to return my money. Many, many emails later, after they kept promising and promising (apparently it wasnt their fault, someone else didnt do their job, yeah right!) I simply gave up and went to my bank and asked them to do something about it.

My bank were marvellous. They were able to get me the money back quite quickly. I had all the appropriate documentation (all the email showing AAPT were going to give me the money back and hadnt) and the customer care person at the bank just made it happen really quickly. No thanks to AAPT.

I will never use AAPT again - they were horrendous to deal with! I still cannot believe how terrible their service was and how I was getting billed for something I did not use!!

Being in the country, broadband is very important with these things in mind, ease of contact (can sometimes be difficult) , setup costs, plans, no hassles, confidence in product. I have been with them for just over 4 years, I have had no problems in that time, also their plans are much more competitive than most, but hey check them out for yourself
This is now been sold to iinet & I have since changed

AAPT sold out to iinet & the service, understanding & time ti fix problems during & since the take over are less than to be desired. My son hasn't had emails for a month & continually gets told we are fixing the problem, has anyone else found this to be the case
