Did you read your contract candy? Did you know you were responsible for their damage? You are lucky you got off easy and can move on with your life. Consider yourself one of the exceptions.

my experience with 123moving has been fantastic from start to finish! the quick response to my enquiries, many follow up phone calls, nice responses to all emails and finally 2 wonderful workers who were so friendly, professional and efficient! thank you Amit, Melanie, Romina and especially Cyril and Theo.

Unfortunately I have to give poor review.
Two hours later than booked, damaged a piece of furniture and customer service was non existent when I followed up.
Moving is tough enough however this day turned into a nightmare.
Approximate cost: $270
same thing happened to our friends who used them. Those guys are terrible

You are entitled to your positive review John- and you are lucky to not have experienced them breaking your things as you too would be subject to their policy that YOU are responsible for the cost of their damage- did you read your contract or just not care? As for "people not knowing How to address their issues" - WOMO themselves have tried to mediate the complaints with this provider and they refuse to even respond to them. Lucky for you, you had your move and can move on with your life. There's a long list who cannot!
We had the worst experience with 123 moving. They damaged my kitchen table upon delivery. Lucky I noticed & when I did they were telling me it wasnt too bad. It was scrapped along concrete & had chip marks all over the top. After numerous phone calls & emails they said they could repair it. 2 months later we get our table back & it was not our table at all. Different colour & took away rustic effect which was the reason we bought it. Was told it cost $600 & we would have to pay $200. Was not happy with it so I want to go through insurance which WE pay the excess for!! So beware if they damage anything you will wear the cost for insurance even though they say it is included in your cost when you book. Would not recommend this company at all. If we don't get a response in the next few days we are going through the ACCC. They took our table away & now we are left with nothing to eat off for who knows how long!!! Not happy!
We have already logged a complaints with consumer affairs for the same issue. The advice is it's an unfair term of the contract so should be void. I encourage you to let a tribunal decide- costs nothing for you to go through and they will soon realise it's worth more than $200 of their time to keep fronting up. Will keep you posted how I go- encourage you to not give in to such poor quality service.
I’d give -5 stars if I could. Avoid at all costs. Hidden costs, the service provided was not as discussed or booked. We booked a large truck only to be given a very small one but charged for the larger truck and the extra hours it took to move. My partner also had to help move as the two guys couldn't finish the move in its entirety. They will call you relentlessly until you book them and then when they do a dodgy job will not return your call.
