My girlfriend and I really felt like a coffee recently so we went for a drive along the main street of Meadows and came across this cafe, strange we had not noticed it sooner. Nice sitting area, please atmosphere, very friendly local staff and of course some delicious coffee and cake for my girlfriend, It was very relaxing, just what we were looking for.
Not a bad little cafe, my girlfriend and I came across it while doing some shopping in Mount Barker recently, the aroma drew us in and upon entering the cafe, I guessed the aroma drew in many more people as it was packed. We patiently waited to be served and recently our coffee in a timely manner considering how busy it was.
This is a fabulous bakery in Mount Barker not far from Rivers but on the main street away from the busy main part. You are nearly there once you pass the police station. Anyway, I love their pies and pasties, the pastry is delicious and of course so are the fillings, they have a large assortment of sweets, my girlfriend has enjoyed a cupcake or two. The staff are nice and it is a very clean establishment.
This place really gets busy so try to arrive early. My friends and I have been here a couple of times now as we love their pizzas, burgers aren't bad either. The staff are great and we love the atmosphere, can be a bit expensive but worth it. We all absolutely enjoyed our meals and are looking forward to our next visit.
The menu has changed a little since I was last here, I once again enjoyed my breakfast and coffee as did my girlfriend. She usually likes to try something sweet but as it was early morning there was none of that on this occasion.
A very nice little dessert cafe hidden on Rundle Street, don't give up, you need to go up a small flight of stairs and then you will know you have arrived. Not a huge area for eating and chairs are not all that comfortable, but worth it once you try any of their desserts. I enjoyed my banana waffle and my girlfriend tried the chocolate banana honey toast, it looked interesting and she loved it. They offer many interesting desserts, sure to make anyone happy.
I love the yiros here, I usually order the combination and always ask for extra garlic sauce as I love it so much. Can get quite busy most days so I often sit outside and wait for my order. Great value for money, generous servings, fresh ingredients, nice staff and most importantly, absolutely delicious. Never been disappointed.
Another great place for a meal in Gawler. A work friend recently moved to the area so my girlfriend and I stayed over recently and ordered some pizzas from here one night, they were awesome, would have to say the nova special was my favourite, we then had breakfast here the following day. I ordered the bacon and eggs and my girlfriend enjoyed her pancakes. The menu is quite large and varied with prices about average. We will be returning.
My girlfriend insists that we drop in here almost every time we are in Gawler. So many delicious sweet treats, she is in heaven. I don't mind a little something now and again. Huge selection of treats, so fresh and delicious.
I cannot fault this fabulous bakery which is situated just on the outskirts of McLaren Vale. This bakery has been around for a while now and is always busy, once you enter and try any of their delicious pastries, you will understand why. Their salt and pepper squid pies are a must, I have also enjoyed their freshly prepared salad foccacia rolls and delicious chocolate iced donuts. The staff are friendly and everything is reasonably priced, huge selection of goodness. Definitely recommend.
