It was a nice day to be out and we decided paul's would be great for some fish and chips. Unfortunately our meal was disappointing, we couldn't understand how the chips were soggy, very oily and the fish was overcooked, dry, crisp. A waste of money, not pleasant at all. Previously, it was great. Unsure if we will return.
Another fantastic American joint, I just love them. You name it, they have it on the menu. Chilli cheese fries were enjoyed by all, they have these delicious chicken wings - you get to pick the sauce, we chose hot/buffalo, they were hot and awesome. So many burgers and hot dogs, my girlfriend decided to try the 'Donut Bacon Cheese burger', it was a large glazed donut filled with the usual burger ingredients, not for me, but she loved it! Their menu is huge, including the dessert menu - definitely for someone with a severe sweet tooth. My girlfriend tried the chocolate & peanut butter waffles, I don't know how she was able to try this after that donut burger. As expected, it was too much for her. I did try it, but way to sweet for me. Prices are very reasonable, the portions are huge, and the food is sensational, felt like we were in the USA, which we will be visiting next year, just preparing ourselves! Oh and staff were friendly and quick with our order.
Has to be 5 stars! It is close to my favourite cafe in Mount Barker, conveniently located on the main street with parking out the front. They make fantastic wood oven pizzas, coffee and most recently breakfast. The bacon and egg turkish roll is so good, I paid extra to have double bacon & egg. My girlfriend enjoyed her pancakes. Also great for vegans, we noticed breakfast and lunch meals available. Prices are affordable, filled us up, didn't need to refuel until later in the day. Delicious food and friendly staff.
Always happy with the service and quality of food, fresh fish and chips, great for when you are in a hurry. Can order ahead so there is no waiting time. My girlfriend loves there salads, menu is varied. Great place for take away.
If you are in Kilburn and searching for a burger joint, well look no further, these guys make the best delicious burgers in the area. No skimping on flavour, quality or size. My friends love them and always make sure we drop in when in the area. Staff are friendly and quick with your order.
We quite like this one. Many interesting meal choices, the duck spring rolls certainly were different, but enjoyable, the crispy chill salt squid was OMG! My girlfriend loved her butter chicken. Our meals were fabulous and the prices really were quite reasonable, many interesting delicious flavours sure to please your palate.
We celebrated a friends birthday at the Strand recently, such a great atmosphere, so welcoming and friendly. Our meals were of the highest quality, no reason to complain everything was perfect, all entrees, mains and desserts arrived in a timely manner. Never left waiting, very attentive staff. I can never say no to a mexican pizza as I love them, they do them particularly well at the Strand. Garlic pizza bread and soft shell crab was also enjoyed by all. A fabulous night out with friends, well looked after by staff.
Still haven't tried a meal at Nick's but have consumed many fabulous coffee's after doing some shopping with my girlfriend nearby. Service is always quick, very clean and tidy. Menu looks great just haven't tried as yet.
Wolfie's use to be in Stirling and I would be there at least once a fortnight but since he has moved to Parkside it is now once a month, mainly because parking is limited, quite difficult.
He buys and sells vinyl records as well as hi fi equipment, he has a huge selection of records at bargain prices. I never leave empty handed, he always has something I want.
Always enjoy trying American cafe, really love their food. I have tried their smokey bbq pulled pork, tex mex burger, hot dogs and recently the breakfast burrito, this, I highly recommend you try, it is fabulous. The service is excellent, atmosphere great and prices extremely reasonable at around $12. You have to try this cafe, you wont be disappointed.
