A small restaurant, a little squeezy with the seating. Not enough personal space but acceptable. We had Yum Cha. Price was based on which category (ranging from regular to deluxe) of dish we chose. As there were several of us we had a large range from the exotic - chickens feet - to the usual, spring rolls, washed down with Chinese Tea. The quality of the dishes was mainly good and reasonably authentic. One in our group chose Chicken and corn soup which was sadly the "for the Aussie palate" version. The delivery of our food to the table was hap-hazard, for example we had to wait for rice to appear quite a while after some other main dishes had arrived. The Chinese tea would have tasted much better had non-tap water been used. Service was not bad but communication was a little strained, as the waitress did not fully understand us. We will be returnng to sample the other dishes.

My friend "Coffee Snob" and I drink coffee in may locations. This is one of the good ones. We like our coffee; strong bodied but not bitter, hot but not scalded, crema not frothy. The ambience is of an elegant pizza place, so it's casual but not tacky. We were between meals so had HOMEMADE mainly Greek cakes. Authentic taste and mostly made by the owner's Mother. She is a good cook as the cakes we sampled were of very good quality. Will be returning to try the Pizzas and when I do I will update this review.

When buying any expensive item my husband and I like to check our facts for the best type, model to suit our needs and of course price. Unusual for me to review "big" business but I was so impressed by the service we recieved by Colin at Harvey Norman. Every bit of information he gave us correlated with what we had discovered about a Tablet we were looking at. We were encouraged to handle, play, fiddle and ask question after question. With his extensive knowledge of the products he had available, he was able to help us compare, with products side by side, to eventually narrow down to the one we bought. I was very impressed by his patience and the range of goods they had on offer.

We have been dining at Ruffinos for quite a few years but have noticed the quality of the food, in the last 6 months, has deteriotrated, or more accurately is inconsistent. Sometimes the pizzas are good (taste fresh, not burnt, good covering of all ingredients mentioned on the menu) and sometimes they are oily, badly created or too crispy). A chicken dish with cheese was the worst meal I'd had there as the chicken was dry and the cheese was cold.

We have eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner there, on various occasions and found the quality to be consistently good and the quantity enough to satisfy a hungry person. The Big Breakfast was under $15 and the plate was heaving with the food on it. $10 specials - day & night BUT the quantity is full price - no skimping. Simple, no-fuss dining area, which can be a little noisy with the concrete floors. I dislike T.V's on the wall and there were two. It's very important to me to see smiling staff and the staff were excellent. Our breakfast guest included an Hotel Manager from the City and he was impressed by the staff.

Whilst I am not raving I would definitely recommend the food in this hotel. The meals served at either lunch or dinner in the pleasant restaurant were consistent and varied enough to cater to most tastes. There is a reasonable wine list as well. The salad bar was most welcome with a VERY satisfactory cold and hot section. Service was quick and cheerful at both delivery and removal. A nice country feel.
