I initially went to see Julie to get Bowen therapy for an injury (which Bowen therapy could not fix) but I find it so relaxing - almost more so than a massage at times. The theory behind it is very interesting and she explains how stimulating the fascia works and answers any questions you have. For those who don't like being touched a lot during a massage Bowen therapy may be for you as there is not a lot of hands on work but it really seems to relax your muscles.

I normally hate going to the dentist and I have a really low pain threshold so haven't gone for years as the last dentist there told me I'd need fillings. The dentist was really patient and understanding. Value-wise I have private health so after worrying I would need fillings it turned out to be sensitive teeth so all that was needed was an x-ray, clean and polish that was free (I think around $60 otherwise). If you're nervous around dentists the new one (forgotten his name) is lovely.

I was referred to a sports medicine specialist after childbirth issues and initally had to go to the main clinic in Subiaco. Thankfully he also worked out of these Glengarry suites so it was close to home and I was offered a new therapy (prolotherapy) at SJOG which has greatly improved my condition.

They only seem to have a limited number of bulk billed appointments and I always seem to miss out. You can rarely see the same Dr twice which is annoying if you are actually ill and don't want to have to explain everything from scratch.

I've only been there for massage therapy and now go regularly. Massage therapists are trained in remedial massage so if you have a injury they can actually help your condition. You can probably just go for a relaxing massage but I use it for medical purposes.

I've visited for several conditions and if I can't see the same physio they've fitted me in with someone else and there seems to be a consistent, high standard of treatment amongst all of those I've seen. They also offer pilates classes and really encourage patients to take ownership of their own recovery, giving active exercises or treatments to do at home.
