This is a great little shop that specialises in Indian bridal wear and other traditional Indian outfits. Although the outfits are beautful, I only gave quality 3 stars as the fabric a lot of their clothes are made out of is not durable and the stitching is not quite as good quality as what you get in department stores. Having said that, the designs, colours, beading and variety are fabulous and the owner of the shop is very helpful and pleasant. If you need a nice Indian outfit to wear as a one off to an event or party, this is the place to go.
We came across this business when we rented a house through them. As tenants, we were so impressed with their service that we decided to use Elite Rentals as our property managers when we bought an investment property (which is now). The Elite Rentals team is fair to both landlord and tenant. They do 3-monthly inspections with detailed reports, always return phone calls and emails and pass on maintenance requests as soon as they receive them. Pricing information for services is very clearly communicated.
I asked for a new style cut and dark brown colour. The hair dye burned my scalp and my roots ended up ginger, which I wasn't happy about. The new style didn't eventuate as the 'cut' involved a few snips. That was the one and only time I went!!
Pros: Excellent hair cut
Cons: After my hair dye had been washed out, I had to sit around for an hour waiting for a hair cut while they were serving another client, even though I had made a booking.
The B'Vogue team has cut my hair 3 times, and coloured it twice now. The pricing is a bit above average, but they do a great job so I think it's worth it. The salon is clean and stylish, the staff friendly and professional... and most importantly, they listen to clients' wishes and cut hair well.
Pros: nice heated towels are used during the massage, nice clean premises.
Cons: paid for a 60 minute and got a 40 minute remedial massage, massage was nothing special.
Paying for a one hour massage I got forty minutes. Most of those forty minutes the masseuse was fiddling around with the music rather than massaging. The massage is very average and the face rest material was dirty and obviously is not changed between clients.
We discovered The Spice Market restaurant through a group buying site, and were so impressed with the food and the service that we have been back a couple of times. Prices are average, but the food is well above average and service is friendly and professional. Unlike other restaurants, meals are generously sized.
Michelle has done pastel and charcoal portraits of my whole family. The drawings are a true likeness of everyone. She also does oil paintings, but unfortunately those are out of our price range!!
I saw Astrid Deen regularly for a year or so for plantar fasciitis, and was very happy with her service. I have gone from not being able to walk to my feet being 90%. My partner has also had her feet sorted out by Astrid. I am happy to recommend Astrid to anyone looking for a good podiatrist.
