Rebel Sport is a typical sporting store, offering the latest sport equipment and apparel. I believe that rebel sport offers better service and cheaper prices than some of the other sport stores.
This supermarket is quite small in size, but has a lot of good products that i haven't seen in other supermarkets, particularly in the hardware section. A lot of the products are much cheaper here than in the bigger supermarkets.

This library has recently undergone a makeover, and is now quite modern and efficient. Come in and borrow a book or two, or check you emails with the free wireless internet on offer.
A nice, cheap bakery that sells delicious cakes, bread and rolls and drinks. It is run by friendly people who offer great service at a good low cost.
This place is a gorgeous little pancake cafe right on the waterfront at Port Adelaide. You can get just about any pancakes you want, whether it be sweet or savoury, and they are delicious.

A large, modern medical centre, that also offers bulk-billing, dental, physiotherapy and x-ray. I have been there a few times, and there are always a lot of people waiting, but the doctors are helpful and the facilities are great.
Red Rock Noodle Bar is a medium-sized restaurant that serves Asian food, from fried rice to noodles. The food is great, and the service is very quick.

Papa's pizza is a small pizza shop at central square shopping centre in Altona Meadows. They have great service, and i would personally recommend the Hawaiian pizza!

I go to this cafe quite often for breakfast. They have the best bacon and scrambled eggs I've had at a cafe or restaurant. Also, the service at the cafe is great.
