Not the best place in Berwick...although their food is good (I've been told) the two times I've been there have resulted in some serious food poisoning. The tables were crammed together and there was little space to move, The staff were in a hurry to go nowhere fast and sometimes didn't look up from the floor!

Brilliant location, we overlooked the river in a beautifully decorated room that had all the trimmings. Usually expensive, but if you book early it does decrease the cost.
Melba's array of food proves to be a gastronimical delight and is definitely worth the money. Wear something loose so that you have extra room and get a table by the window so you can watch the street theatre!

Lovely food and wonderful atmosphere...wait staff are prompt and the dishes are served hot which is important.
Always a bonus that the dishes are clean, as is the cutlery...a lovely little place to eat.

AMAZING - and that's just to start. Their bridal dresses are spectacular and their design quality is unbelievable.
Nothing is too much for these mistresses of the needle and thread. They made my dream wedding dress and they did it with ease. I had 9 consultations in total to get the dress exactly how I wanted it and they fit in around a time that suited me...unbelievable.
I loved my dress SO much I didn't want to take it off.
To all future bride's out there - go and have a chat with Rose, Annette and Lee. They are the most lovely ladies and will do whatever you want as long as you are happy.

Easy to email and have a convo with. Sent through quotes quick and were easy to understand. Pretty much could do what ever we wanted to be done. Were more than happy to make changes if and when necessary.

Charged a fortune and botched the job...hair came out basketball orange and then made me pay to fix it...went twice because I thought I'd given them the benefit of the doubt and they did it AGAIN!!! Bit the bullet and now do my own hair colour and save a fortune.
Staff were also quite rude, rolling of the eyes was prevalent as was huffing when I asked questions about how they were fixing it.

Save room for dessert as the cakes are amazing and they are all freash.

Awesome...food arrived quickly, pizza was awesome. They are quite happy to make alterations for dieatary requirements. Save room for dessert...it's well worth it, the strawberry crepes are amazing.
