This is a great shoe store in the heart of Hobart. There is a really good selection of European brand footwear and they often have a 'specials' table for reduced shoes in most sizes.
All the staff members are extremely helpful and friendly.
On a recent visit the service was excellent with the owner going out of his way to help track down a business in Melbourne which re-soled small-size shoes.
Definitely a Hobart institution, a popular spot for locals and visitors with a great selection of cakes, pastries, (love that beef and burgundy pie) fresh breads baked daily. Usually always packed for breakfast and lunch. Coffee is also great.
The staff are usually always madly running around but still manage to smile and have a friendly manner. It also has a nice atmosphere as it is situated in one of the many historic buildings throughout Battery Point.
A wonderful shop with a fantastic range of products. We arrived just in time on Saturday to pick-up some great half-price bargains during their stocktake sale. All their products are high quality.
The staff have a lovely friendly manner and offered to gift wrap our purchases which was a nice added bonus. Well worth a visit!
This would probably be the best place to buy Fresh Fish in Hobart.
There is always a friendly welcome and the staff will save fish for you if you order it over the phone prior to collecting.
The fish is always fresh and they also supply ice if required free of charge.
I recently went to Myer in Hobart after I received their latest sale catalogue.
Since the huge fire that destroyed a large section of Myer many departments have been moved. I enquired to a member of staff where the dvd's were only to hear that they no longer have any dvd's or cd's. I was pretty disappointed. I also found it very difficult to get served. There certainly don't seem to be enough staff.
We found this fantastic shop on our last holiday to Melbourne.
It's packed with all types of items like jewellery, bags, clothing and home products to name a few.
The service was also very good. Well worth another visit!
