This is not a manned laundromat. The machines are quite often out of order and the others are often taken up by businesses in the surrounding centre. It is common to have to wait over an hour for someone to return to the laundromat to empty a washer or dryer of clothes that have finished their cycle.
What a lovely little shop. Whilst the range is smaller than most of the larger "chains" the variety more than compensates. The gift range is considerate with lots to chose from. This may well become one of my favourites.
The staff are friendly but the overall shop is a little "tired". This by no means detracts from the fact that the pies are great. The cakes are pretty standard fare with nothing that sets the bakery apart from the myriad of other bakeries out there.
Being a female, hardware shops simply do not do it for me. However, my partner loved this little treasure. It is set out in the old hardware way....you know...not like a department store. He pottered around in this shop for ages and was thrilled to see there was also a downstairs where he could check out all the timber
The staff at this agent are very friendly. They treat their tenants with respect. A pleasant change from my previous Brisbane based agent. Most of my early dealing with this agent were done by phone and email but they have at all times made me feel comfortable and at ease with them
You drive into the car park to this unassuming building and think where am I? You then walk into this little boutique cafe / cheese factory and think...wow, this isn't too bad at all. The cabinet display is full of different cheeses and most of them you are able to taste right there and then.
They offer several different sample bags at a very reasonable price which we have taken advantage of on several different occasions.
I recently took my sister there and she loved the chili cheese (also one of my favourites)
Without a doubt, the best candle shop I have ever been in. This is more than a candle shop...it is a sensory heaven.
Their best product (in my humble opinion) is the Woodwick Candle. There are not many places in Australia where you can buy and they are well worth every cent that they cost. The scent in these candles is second to none.
The staff in the Shoppe are very friendly and are more than happy to talk you through every item they have if that is what you want.
We never miss stopping at this shop when we travel through the area...simply superb.
We recently relocated and whilst the company took care of the cost of moving I wanted to congratulate the actual men who delivered our furniture to our new home.
The two chaps who arrived with our furniture were very helpful and treated our belongings with the utmost care. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they made what is always a stressful experience much more relaxing than it could have been.
Hats of to the Rockhampton boys...job well done
Upon leaving Sydney, I tried many different hair salons in the Brisbane area and always left feeling disappointment. A friend referred me to the Shearing Shed and I never looked back from there. Wendy is fantastic...she understands short hair and is just the nicest person.
Even my partner ended up using them....he has difficult hair but they managed to tame it and make it manageable for him.
The prices are second to none and the quality is excellent
Sad to say, but this store has managed to turn me away from all Bakers Delight stores forever. I used to frequent this store on a regular basis but one day whilst sitting at the cafe across from this shop I witnessed a total lack of care and hygiene which has turned both myself and my partner off for good.
I witnessed a young staff member knock a container of those little toothpick type of sticks (you know the ones that you use to pick up a free sample which goes into you mouth) onto the floor at the base of the stand that had the free samples on it. He then proceeded with un-gloved hands to pick up the spilled sticks and replaced them into the container with the new unused ones and put the entire container back on the stand for unsuspecting customers to use.
